Nothing happened

I have not directly received a call from this company, but some how they were able to get in contact with my mother. The number they gave to contact is 855-542-8895. She tried to ask what it was in regards to, and all they told her was I committed a fraudulent act and they were going to contact the Attorney General if I did not call them. They told her they have been trying to get in contact with me with no respone, yet I have not received not one phone call. Awfully strange,  they can dig up my mother's phone number but not mines! Does anyone know if this place is legit? Nothing came up online, but this blog. Thanks in advance.

I have received the exact same message!  I am so tired and frustrated dealing with this!  I think I am going to try to get a lawyer and get this settled for once and for all.

I received a call this week from a so called petitioner named Ms. Brown who said she preparing paperwork for litigation so I could be served on behalf of Lewinsky and Associates. I was like really I never received any paperwork in the mail regarding this issue. So then I was asked to call Lewinsky and Associates at a different phone than is posted by the other forum members (855-249-0221). I spoke to Mr. Santerini who was seeking $848.00 to pay off a pay day loan and said if I let it go to court than I would be reliable for attorney fees, etc and then the amount would be $5,440.82 and mentioned I had 2 criminal charges against me one was Malicious Intent to Defraud a Financial Institution. I told him if new how many debt collectors have tried the same thing and than I received calls from three different agencies in the month of July trying to collect the same debt....WHICH I PAYED OVER 2 YEARS AGO...I wish they would take me to court since these companies are NOT LEGITIMATE. My attorney told me in July to file a complaint on the Federal Trade Commission website since these agencies are not legit. I have been getting calls like this from numerous agencies and no one can ever verify the original lender. One agency tried to get me to sign a validation letter which referenced the loan that I have already paid. I wonder how many years a person has to be harassed on a debt that has been settled. I tried to e-mail them the information to show it has been paid and was asked to send it to if@lewinskyandfaulknerassociates.com which is not a valid e-mail...go figure and like others they do not show up in a web search except in blogs like this.

Really?  So maybe you can help people here out and be a kind soul by answering some questions since I did your "research" and they are "legit"

What is the exact name of the company?
What is their address?
How exactly did they help your credit score?
Why did you wander into this thread to tell us they were legit?

If you can't or won't answer, that would indicate you are a shill who is planting false information on behalf of this company to may them look 'legit"

ive done my research and this company is legit. i took care of the matter and it improved my credit score

I recieved a phone call from these people also! They called my mothers house as well as my aunt ! They threatened me with jail time if i didn't pay my debt! It would cost me $5000 if I went to court they said. I don't know how they got my aunts phone number because she has a different last name !

This is a collection agency that is trying to scare you into paying past debts. It is illegal for them to threaten you with jail, and it is also illegal for them to misrepresent themselves. File a BBB complaint and they will stop. Also if paperwork goes to court/ a real lawsuit they won't tell you and they won't tell you to call the company. This is a lie to scare you, which is illegal.

I was called yesterday too but the called my job spoke to my boss  first and pretended to be a state of micigan clerk trying to reach me as an informant and to let me know legal charges would be brought against my on the behalf of payday funding and i was instructed to call lewinsky and associates.   I called them spoke to matthew reed who only told my i had to pay this dept off or be taken to court and the i would have to come out of pocket with $5000+.
I called back later on that day and could not get him but i spoke to a crazy lady that informed me tgey were in chicago and i yhen asked how and why would a state of michigan clerk be representing them then she acted confused and frustratedtold me look why are you calling her we are off and leaving for the weekend and you are not going to mess that up for us we will deal with you on monday then hung up on me.  I feel like this is a scam to because tgey state nothing about where the loan was initialted and they give a odd amount of a loan plus they tack on interest.

Same lady just called me but when i called the number she gave me it went to Turner/Ross Associates. Same deal as everyone here is saying. They said i got a loan from loan.com and never paid back. I never got a loan from them. ITS ALL A SCAM,SCAM,SCAM. Please do not fall for it as these people are probably just out of jail and cant get a real job. In another post online someone said they called them 60 times and hung up when someone answered. we should all do this.

They called me and won't tell me anything either

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone, for some guy I've never heard of.  Came up as "UKNOWN" number on the caller ID.  "Sandra Marvin" left a voicemail message for someone namd "Brian Ferguson".  When I called the number back to tell them wrong number, got a whole slew of recorded messages (?) and put on endless 'hold'.

I just got the same call, what ended up happening ?

My husband got a voicemail and was told to call this number as well. He was unavailable to make the call, so I called for him. I did not give them my name or any information about me OR my husband. I did find out that they're located in Chicago and that their supposed business name is Lewinsky and Associates. When I asked them why I would receive a call on my phone when I'm not even in that state, I was told that it's probably a lawsuit. I pressed further and asked them what kind of a lawsuit. I was told by "Nathan" that he wasn't sure. When I asked what kind of lawsuits they handle, I couldn't get a direct response. I was just told that they handle "all different kinds".

I even went online and did a search for Lewinsky and Associates in Chicago....NOTHING! I believe this is a total scam. If they call you, DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFO. If they are legitimate, they'll have your information as well as who the SUPPOSED plaintiff is in the case.

Was this a scam? Or a legitimate call? My husband just got a voicemail from them.
