i got a call for someone else saying they were coming to my home and a place of business to serve them with a summons.is this even real when i called back the man that answered said how can i help you . no hello he didnt even mention from where he is calling from

MY NAME IS HARRALYN MERRIE RAWLS MY HUSBAND JAMES RAWLS IS BROKE AND CANT AFFORD TO PAY THE BILLS. SO I GO TO WORK AND PAY ALL THE BILLS. I CANT AFFORD TO PAY ALL HIS BILLS AND I WANT A WAY OUT! WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT THIS? MY HUSBAND JAMES REFUSES TO GET OF HIS BUTT AND GET A JOB! IM SO ANGRY WITH HIM........

This guy from this number 855-656-5010 called me, my mother, my husbands mom and my sister so called looking for my husband. He stated that he was going to serve me with papers and garnish my wages if I did not make a payment on my husbands behalf. He also stated that he was going to serve me, my mom, my mother in law, my  sister and my husband with warrants if we did not give them the information they wnated and payment to keep this from going to court. He said he was from the County Prosecutors office. I called the County Prosecutors office anf they said they had no one by the name of Mr. Lucas. I gave them the number he called from and they said that number is not associated with the County Prosecutors office, the county or the state. This is a scam. He would never tell me the name of his company.

I too have received harassing phone calls to my family from supposed Ben Sanders he said he had a docket number and was serving a warrant for my arrest! My attorneys office called the fraud department for my county, no such detective by that name, or any warrant for my arrest! Total scam! Scared my family! Thankfully I have a family lawyer and a great attorney, imposing fear on the wrong people! May they rot n a special place! I took the day off work and talked to my attorney to figure this out! They threatened my freedom and well being for a day!

Just received a phone call this morning (7/10/2012). Said he was an Investigator, Ben Sanders. Told me I was listed as a second degree relative to a lady I had never heard of. Told me the charges on her. Said if I didn't cooperate, they would send someone to investigate. I told him I would not give him any information. He asked to leave his number and I said that would be fine. He gave me a case docket number to refer to when calling and gave me this number 855-656-5010.  THIS IS A SCAM! He is very convincing and professional acting. That is, until you call back and let them know you know it is a scam. Then they will hang up on you. This guy even had my mother in laws name and address, plus the first 5 digits of my social security number. If you ever receive a phone call from so called FBI or Investigators, etc...check them out online first before giving them ANY information. Take their information down and turn them in to your attorney general office and any place you can expose them.

I have received the same calls you guys have. How can we stop them from harrassing. They are calling my family members and harrassing them . The even called my work and told them. Luckily my employers believed me and didn't fire me. I want this to STOP.

I got a call from my grandpa today stating that a gentelman named John McCaffrey stated there were charges against me and my grandma and if I didn't call him righ away that I be served a summons. I called the Attorney General's Office where they directed me to call the local police department and local DA. I called the DA and they directed me to the police department. Since I am at work the police department couldn't help me until I get home. I called these people back to ask where they were calling from and the first guy hung up on me after yelling at me how he needs to protect his family and so on so he can't just tell me where he works. The I called back gave the guy my case number and he said his name was James Brown and worked for CSC in Atlanta. Then I stated not to call myself or any of my family members again he then continued to yell inappropriate words and I hung up on him. These people are no way law enforcement at least not with their attitudes or mouths they use. They are scammers don't give them money!!!

Got a call from investigator Tom Dillon some time ago, spouting the same rhetoric.  He never mentions the company he is with and uses language which I know for a fact, no legal secretary in her right mind would string together in a sentence.  I agree with Lazar, they are completely ignorant of local laws and use scare tactics to threaten people into giving them money based on lies. Their initialized call number showed "RESTRICTED" in my caller ID, but he left the number 855-656-5010 to call.  I called my attorney and they agreed as above, this organization is a scam.

This is the same group that calls around trying every tactic in the book to scare people into paying really old, often illegal, payday loans.  Funny thing I've never had a payday loan in my life.  It started a year ago and I handed documentation to my States Attorney's Generals office, including recorded calls from this group, showing their claims were completely bogus.  They claimed banks deposits that are never reflected in my account.  They threaten legal actions often completely ignorant of local laws governing such suits and summons.  In some states they threaten repeatedly to send "process servers" with summons for a lawsuit, completely stupid to the fact that many states don't use or allow private "process servers" a summons can only be delivered by law enforcement.  Ask them about that and see how fast they hang up when you're going to check the status of a summons with the local Sheriff's dept.

I blocked their calls using every means available last year and somehow they got the number for my wife's grandmother (of all people) and told her to have me call them because I was eligible for a "free offer".  She told them she did not have a way to contact me and that she believed their call was a scam.  The guy "Brad Bishop", you know the fugitive who murdered his family (cute), got mad and then started ranting to her about the legal actions I would face if I didn't call him right away.

Brad...whoever the hell you are...I'm not calling you.  Your job is a failure, you are a failure, this scam organization trying to scare people out of money is a failure except for the small percentage of people you manage to scare into giving you money based on your lies.  Hide in shame or fall in an open manhole and die.  Nobody cares either way.

Someone called claiming to be "Legal Investigator John McCaffrey", called me at work on my direct line; I stopped his spiel and told him never to call me again. Conversation was overheard by a co-worker.  LOL he called back and I didn't pick up so he happened to call back in to co-worker's direct line!!!  Told co-worker that I'd cussed him out and gave her all kinds of information. LOL he said I could resolve it or he would send the Sheriff. CO-worker just laughed---funny thing is, SHE got a similar call from the same guy about 3 mos ago, except that call was about some "drug packages" she needed to pay for online.  FYI I'd gotten a call several months ago, same guy same threat.  I checked Court records and contacted the Sheriff's office and , OF COURSE, there was no legal action.  What's awful is this bottom feeder actually scares people into paying him.

Received a call (listed as anonymous on my caller i.d.) from an investigator this morning stating that I was being investigated for fraud.  I asked him what company is he calling from and he said a "processing service company".  He gave me all my information (scary!!) as far as social, address and past employer.  He stated that I will be taken to court if I dont repay the payday loan I owed.  I told him I am currently unemployed and cannot repay.  He said he will make a note on the acct and make sure all my future earnings are garnished before he hung up on me and called me a bi***!!  This is definitely either a pay day loan representative or a faker!! beware people!!

An investigator came to my house looking for my son today. I told him my son moved out over 3 years ago. He told me to have him call him at this number. What is this about?

I received a call.  Returned the call.  When they answered I first asked for the name of their company, to which I got "process serving firm"  So again I asked for the name of the company, not what they did.  I was placed on hold and after a few minutes of a holding beep the call was disconnected.

I called right back. The same "investigator" answered the phone and I advised that I must've been cut off, he tried once more to get information from me still without answering the question.  He became irate when I asked again and hung up on me.  Still refusing to give the name of the company and only wanting my information (Name, SSN, etc).

I called back a third time.  Same investigator answered while trying to disguise their voice.  I called them out on their attempt and they started yelling at me asking me what I wanted, that I kept calling them.  I told him that I did some research on this, coming to find out it was most likely a scam.  His response was telling me to go to hell and he hung up on me.

I got the same call a few months ago from an investigator Russo! It was about a pay-day loan I had taken out a few years ago and never paid back. He informed me that if I did not resolve this matter i would have to go to court. I thought this was a scam so I hung up on him. The next day I was ordered to appear in Cuyahoga county court. I could not afford an attorney so i was appointed legal council. I was found guilty and received a judgement for over $6,000! Which is now on my credit report and my wages are currently being garnished! They are taking %25 of my income to pay this off! The loan was only for $900. This is crazy!!!!!!! Now i am falling behind on my car note and utility bills because of this! Beverly, try and see if you can settle with them before you go to trial! Trust me....... you will save yourself some money!

I received a call from an investigator 2 days ago from this number. He left a message on my machine saying I had a pending legal matter and that i needed to call him back immediately. I thought is was a joke until i was served a summons to appear in Harris county court today! My court date is in 2 weeks. Now i have to get a lawyer to fight this and its going to cost me so much money.
