Erica Taylor called me on my cell phone and at my place of employment with threatening messages.

This man called from a blocked number and said he had to verify an address to send me the papers for charges against me. I asked him who was he representing he told me he didnt know the papers where sealed.. then I asked why was he calling from a blocked number her said thats the way the phones are set up. I told him thats some BS and told him to find another hobby cause hes not getting ym money and hung up!

Good choice, blocking them and reporting them would help as well.

Crap that started up a week ago, looking for vulnerable people to fall for their lies, and believe them.

Also, does it bother anyone else that these notes are just arriving in the past week on this number?  Are these clowns a startup or what?!?!?!

I'm experiencing the same as the rest of you.  He did identify as NCR or Niagra Credit Resources, but I'm not getting any hits on that name at the momenton the internet.  

This man will not validate documentation pertaining to supposed debt until after payment arrangements are made.  I told him this was unacceptable and he placed me on hold to validate with manager that he could send to me...WTF!  They wanted my email for delivery and I advised I would not provide them another avenue to harass me by and offered a fax # to send documents to, they would not accept that option.  Something not quite right here.  I've worked for collections before and I know what fair practices are for acting on the collections piece of things.  

I also don't equate credit resources to anykind of "firm", which they repeatedly refer to themselves as on voicemails and on calls.

Exactly the same thing to my phone for the last two days.  Wow, are these people getting creative!  I will never answer them.

Repeated calls from this phone number indicating I've opened a cass number and if we don't contat them immediately, it will be too late.  Very rude callers!

I would bet that they would love a payment.  If they are a collector, one payment implys guilt and  the Statute of Limitation  Clock will be restarted.  Hang in there estella  and don't even talk to the Toads.

I too started getting calls from from a private number. This man  told me I needed to call this number and gave me a claim number he also stated I had been officially notified. He later called 2 more times and left a message on my voicemail. He's started saying that charges and a claim has been filed. he was also trying to verify home address an employer address. my mom and I did a search and found this post regarding this number. I am glad to find out that other people have experienced this whole thing as well. The man I spoke with was so evasive
that I had no clue what was going on. I sure can't wait until he calls back tomorrow.

we had the same thing they are calling because we have charges and a claim against me. they are calling to know my address and place of employment. It's a woman and at the end she says that you have been officially notified... in order to intimidate you. I'm glad I'm not the only one receiving these calls... Please report!

They called me several times. It was a debt collector.

These people call my work and so I called back and asked for an itemized statement of the so called bill AND
People said they will send me one once I made a payment?  HUH? They then said I was being formally charged and that someone will be out to my house to arrest me.  I am reporting this number to the FBI they love this kinda stuff

Beware extortion scams come in many flavors and they constantly evolve to stay one step ahead of the law.

calls every day, left a message twice and says they have my address and information and that if I don't call this number back I will be contacted in person and it'll be too late to talk to their firm? Something about charges against me?? Ignore!
