How would you verify info if you ask?

Just do not answer...I also assign name "do not answer 01"  do not answer 02" etc etc...Also telephone ringer is always turned off...

I've received a call from this number every day for the last 4 days while I'm sleeping. I have my phone silenced, so I haven't answered. I haven't bought any new services from Rogers lately, but I am a Rogers customer. I have opted out of their sales calls, so it should be an interesting conversation when I do actually answer this call.

This is a scam...not Rogers. They would dearly love to get your Rogers account info though.

This 800 number belongs to INFOCISION.  They are a huge (crooked) telemarkting company based in Akron Ohio. (Google "INFOCISION CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT" for more information on this blood sucking company)  Rogers has contracted this company to place telemarketing calls on their behalf (both wireless and cable services).  ANYTIME a company calls you on behalf of Rogers it is because they want you to buy more services, plain and simple.  Best dealt with by clearly telling the caller that you WANT TO BE REMOVED FROM THEIR CALLING LIST.

I been having this number and a few other ones phone me constantly. It's quite annoying because not once have I ever been a customer with Rogers! I deal with Telus, so this is infuriating to deal with..

Its a scam.........caller says they are from Rogers cable and internet.......They ask how you like the service and claim they contact find your account number......They ask you for it.....
Just hang up on them..........

This number calls me once every two days and the same time. I do not answer numbers I don't know and they never leave a message.

Any business you have a relationship with is allowed to call you!  

However - you have the right to contact them and  OPT OUT of receiving telemarketing calls,

the telemarketer will not take your number off the list that Rogers provided until Rogers tells them to,

Look I can understand want she said that I am really deaf person but she talk to fast about the package  but I dont understand why I need to much money but why she asked me about package because I cant stand it that I am really deaf person please help me please Thank You

Pretty silly call. It is infact Rogers' Welcome call if you sign up for a new Rogers service - TV or Internet.

I asked the lady if it was okay to excuse me from her having to read me all my things I signed up for and how much I was paying for each service. You'd think I'd know what I signed up for.

I don't have Rogers and got a calll today.  It only rang 3 times and, of course being a toll-free, I didn't answer.

Callback to this number shows that it IS Rogers.  So, having recently got their landline phone service, I simply used my Rogers call-block service to BLOCK this number.  Love that!

FED UP WITH THIS NUMBER ALWAYS CALLING......

Got a call from this number yesterday. See from the other posts that it is Rogers (Communication). I don't have an account with them. Called on my cell (Verizon).

If he hangs up, means it wasn't really from Rogers most likely. Call centres are not allowed to hang up on people, bad customer service.

I got this call today from a guy saying it was Rogers and thanking for signing up for their services (which I did a few weeks earlier).

Strange thing was that the first thing has asked me for was to spell my name and give him my postal code.  I used to do Rogers customer service, and you don't ask for someone's information to "verify" their account.

I flat out said that since he called me asking for my info, that I wouldn't give him my info.  It would be different if I was the person who called Rogers.  He said that was ok and hung up.

I just started receiving these calls after signing up for rogers services. There's never anyone on the line. between 6 and 10 seconds of silence and then the call disconnects. It's happened every day for nearly a week now. SO TICKED. One more call and some poor customer service rep is getting an earful.

What an annoying waste of time.  This was Rogers, calling me on my cellphone, using up my airtime, to try and sell me more cable and internet products.  I was NOT pleased.

Been checking on 4 numbers that have been calling me. All numbers have been calling within 5 days of my new rogers services. All numbers seem to be claiming to work for rogers. To avoid these calls do not have your services with rogers. I never had any problems with telemarketers on my cellphone before.

It's Rogers...if you got a new service they want to "help" you... :)
