SCAM, SCAM, SCAM
Someone left a message to call about a pending civil case against my wife. I called this number. They said they were from a law office and they would be suing her for an unpaid credit card, but she could stop it if she paid 1/2 of what was owed.
In CA, there is a statute of limitations on how long the have to sue (4 years from last payment), so I asked him when the last payment was. He said 12/23/2010 and that the debt was within statute. Upon checking, we realized that my wife was in the hospital at that time and there was no way. I looked it up on her credit report and found he was lying about the last paid date. The debt is too old to sue on.

Called for a person who was not me and left a message that a process service will be ringing my doorbell with a summons to appear unless I return his call immediately. Too bad for the person he really wanted since they won't be calling him back..wrong number buddy.

Somebody from this phone number (a guy), called my work and asked for me. He said "personal matter" when asked what the nature of his call was. He also said to my co worker that he's from loan processing. When I called the number, I barely heard the guy talk, then hang up on me.
