just hung up on this guy.  He's called here several times and I'm never nice to him.  thick accent.  Got very irate with me when I told him this was a scam and I wasn't interested.  So sick of this.

"William" from "Microsoft Tech Department" said my computer had been sending "error codes" and he wanted to log in so he could fix it for me.  I told him to get out of town - I'm notifying the FBI about him and his friends at "Microsoft Tech Department"

These crooks have called my home several times, late at night and early (before 8am) in the morning.  I've told them not to call anymore, and they still do.  What can be done about this?  They are violating FTC regulations -- can they not be touched because they are in India?

Same exact thing twice. On Friday I told them they were a scam and hung up. They called again today and I insisted on a phone number to call them back and they gave me 855-677-5556. Transferred me to her supervisor and I swear it was the same lady.

I recieved a call from a woman with an idian accent. She mentioned my computer ha been hacked, I almost believed her but then thought about microsoft being all american. I asked her a lot of questions in which she kept responding that my computers been hacked. She then transfered me to her supervisor a man named Adem with sn even heavier indian accent. I said I had to go and asked for a call bacj number. Which they gave the same 1 855 677 5556.

I am actually doing this for my husband. He received the same message as the other posts, except that his name is Edward Williams. My daughter called and asked to speak with Edward, the man with the very thick Indian accent said that Edward Williams was his computer technician. She asked to speak with his supervisor, he said a few things which were hard to understand because of his accent, but that he would transfer her to the supervisor. Guess what? Same guy, never was a transfer, and he was the supervisor!!! I tried calling our BBB office, which peeves me because they are NOT open after 4:30 pm!!! So who are you supposed to call? I tried the CPB and they transferred me to the FTC. This kind of crap needs to stop!!! And our BBB offices need an AFTER HOURS number. These scam artists are not stupid!

Male with heavy indian accent called. Identified himself from Microsoft. He's a computer hacker. Told me my computer was being hacked and would crash in two hours and he would help me avoid this. Told him I would have to check with Microsoft first and would call him back. He got very angry and told me the government was going to charge me $3,000 if I didn't comply. ???

They have been calling my house and cell for months... A few times a weeks at least. My threats don't work... What do I do to stop them from calling again?

Yep, this idiot from india accent tried the same thing about we have been hacked, please give us your information and we will investigate. He is a a**. But told him we can hunt him down and throw him over a cliff, he said we could not do anything to him, u want to make a bet..............i can hunt u down...so watch your back and sleep with one eye open, your day is coming very soon....sooner than u think......

Same spam as above. Called yesterday and this morning.

We receive these calls quite often but today I thought I'd play it out and see what they said.  I don't remember the first man's name.  I complained that he had phoned so early and he stressed that if it weren't important, why else would he call so early?  I told him my husband did all my computer work and he insisted that my husband wouldn't know what to do and the Chinese would crash my computer.  He then passed me to a "supervisor" who identified himself as Prince Dawson ID 11137.  
I told him I couldn't work with this right now but he could give me a # to call him back.  He gave the same # provided here and I hung up.  As with previous posters, this showed up on my caller ID as 1-231-4158

Not just seniors!  I just got this call at 7:30am and I'm only 45!

The same Alex as another caller reported phoned us, same thing - said he was Microsoft Technical Support. They've been getting notices from my computer (ha-WHICH ONE?) that I've been hacked.  I have the highest-recommended security program on all my computers so I wasn't alarmed, and the whole thing sounded suspicious so I faked a household emergency and asked if I could call him back. He gave me the 855-677-5556 number reported by others.

I got the same scam call twice in 2 days from 855 677 5556 - this one  from an Indian insisting he was named Rordiguez and was from Microsoft alerting me that my IP address had been hacked. Yesterday's call was initated by a woman who passed me to "tech support."

just filed a claim on the site, not that it will prevent them from calling, but just to let you know!

same phone call.  said they were from microsoft.  Listened to their spiel and when they told me it would be $248 to fix my computer I hung up. I have tried to locate this number but all efforts have failed

really suspect it is a scam to (fix) my computer.  If anyone knows the pcople using this phone number please reply.  I will br watching for posts.

I had a call today much like the one reported by Alex. I first spoke to a woman with an Asian accent, then she passed me to a man with an Indian accent, claiming to be from Windows Security. I told them that I didn't believe them, and that it was a fraudulent call. The man at the end told me that I was a fraudulent person and to go to hell.

Anyone calling you about your computer saying there something wrong and can fix it... its a scam don't fall for these criminals. I get call like this all the time some saying there from windows and that you internet provider does not make calls like this nor does windows.  Any calls regarding computers or modems just hang up

some company who says they can fix your computer. I dont know if they are legit.

We got the same call from 'Widows Technical Department'. The guy called himself Alex Willem and spoke with heavy Indian accent.
He provided call back number - 855-677-5556 and Caller Id displayed -1-231-4158.
During conversation we did some Internet research and realized that it was fraud.  
We told him that we would call the police. He responded that ?the police and whole United States cannot do anything to him? and he f*** me, my family and US.
Isn?t it possible to stop this harassment? Is there anywhere we can report this other than on a website?                                  
There should be a way to penalize these people.

Call supposedly from WINDOWS SECURITY and my IP address had been hacked.  Had my name, so wonder where they're getting they're phone numbers and contact info.  Gave this number for call back, but first started a spiel about security ID numbers etc.  I hung up in the middle of their blather and I did not call back.

Our caller ID showed the number 1-231-4158, but the caller gave the number 1-855-677-5556. This is a computer hacker scam.

This scam number has called us more than once.  Obviously, it targets senior citizens!

Careful, number sometimes shows up as 1-231-4158, major SCAM, they will give this number as call back.
