855 679 0018 I called and they said "goodbye" and hungup

The text message came to me via dtkevgskcyah@yahoo.com saying I won a free cruise and to call 855-679-0018. To bad they dont find these low life scums.

Report the number to do not call.gov. Don't reply or call them.

Just got a text from vcpblqpiti@hotmail.com. Same number, same message.  I sent a text asking how they got my number, but there hasn't been a response. I don't have a smart phone, Verizon Cell, I just got back from a trip that I booked on Delta and Priceline.com.  I'm not sure if any of that is related, as I do sign up for things online, but not on random websites.  Only on websites that I know are legit. I hope any of this info helps.

I just got the same email from erdttxeknyq@hotmail.com. Have any of you entered to win a car at one of those mall give aways? I entered this weekend, and it asked about Cruises and other vacations, so I'm thinking that's where it's from. Either way, I won't be calling as I find it hard to believe. If I really won, I feel like they would give me a phone call rather than send a text message.

Got a text message from this number with an email of pugyi@yahoo.com. I am not going to be calling. Kinda odd that I would receive a text for something I won. What a bunch of BS. I agree with a previous poster that they should have a do not text list as well.

I got the same exact message except from cccwxxzpcsj@hotmail.com I do NOT appreciate this as I am a teenager! maybe along with the do not call list, they dhould make a do not text list as well?

I had registered on what looked like a legitimate site.   I believe the offer was received in an email.
The offer says  " Your entry was selected for our winning Cruise to the Bahamas".  8556790018.  

I have tried to research the phone number ( I did not call, as I now believe it may be a scam ).  I see others listed above have received the same similar info.  
I did not try to sign in anonymously.  I am assuming I did not register properly. I did not fill out the information below, because I have not returned the call.

Just got a test with the free cruise message but from yzmkkfscfnmtin@hotmail.com .  I wish I knew which app caused this to start showing up on my phone!  Totally has to be a scam!  No one giving away a free cruise from an anonymous email address...beware people!

I just received a text fromxuzecm@cruisegiveaway2013.com."You've been chosen for a cruise to the Bahamas! call 8556790018. Hope no one falls for this obvious scam. That's why so many different e-mail addresses have been used. (Harder to pinpoint or prosecute after they clean out your bank account.) They'll tell you there's some kind of processing fee in order to receive your "free" prize.  That's the way they get your banking info because surely you won't be sending cash.  Unless they ask you to  send it by Western Union - then i that case, it's definitely a scam!  These people are probably not even in the U.S. so definitely kiss your money good-bye.  By the way, they texted my prepaid cell and I'm on the "Do Not Call" list for cell and home. IRRITATING!
