So I too receive several of these calls. Really ignorant people working there. This is the exact message they left me. I took a loan about 3 years ago and finally paid it off since there rates are crazy and still get calls about this. They just buy leads of people who had a loan then harass them until someone actually pays. Then they keep the money. Don't pay and let them go out of business. We as Americans need to support eachother especially when most of us are in the 99%...Come on.

Curtis Watson also called me. This is a common collection agency practice. They pretend to be a private locator or process server. They tell you that you have charges against you. They are trying to scare you into paying them. What they are doing is illegal. You can sue them for using illegal collection practices. I always tell them that they are committing a crime and that I am going to contact my lawyer and pursue legal action against them if they call again. They never call back.

How do you know he is white?  And what difference does that make if he is?  Racism is a two way street...

Same company called me today. They told me i would have to answer to charges, I requested that they bring the paper to my home or my job and the guy got really rude and told me I would lose my job if I did not call the 1855-681-1065 #. I told him I had never committed a crime in my life and would answer to any charges brought against me. After speaking with me He called my job and they could not and would not even verify that I work there. This is outrageous! He said his name was Curtis Watson and that he is a private locator....shouldn't be hard to locate me since, I've had the same address, job and the number he called me at is the only one I've ever had!!!HELL-O! What a joke!

I got the same call, from the same Rachel Miller.  I think she may have called my sister and work too, because they both just called me.  (I didn't answer because I wanted to find out what it was about before calling them back.)  Have you called back?  I did have payday loans in the past, but I paid them off.

I got a call today from a Rachel Miller from phone number 412-436-5100 saying that she had a file number and needed to verify either my home address or work address to serve me papers.  She gave me 855-681-1065 to call the office back directly.  I have yet to do so.  She also called my parents house and I haven't lived there in 5 years.  My mom called me and said you need to listen to this message and I said it's probably the same one I just got.  I had pay day loans in the past, but used the company Pay Less Debt to pay them off.  I haven't called them back yet, but isn't it against the law to call someone looking for a debt but they don't identify where they are calling from?

I am receiving calls today from the same firm Global, and they keep sending threats out, even when I told them I wasn't the person..... Who in the heck are these people......WHAT GIVE THEM THE RIGHT TO HARRASS ANYONE ....... AND YES THEY ARE RUDE VERY RUDE

They use to call my Google Voice number OFTEN, but it has been months since they last called me and once again, same message as before and tomorrow instead of being notified, I'll "be served."  Yup, nothing happened before either.  I never call back.  Here is the transcript from my Google Voice account:

This message is intended for *J.P.* Claim Number, 123456. This is Karen Williams contacting you regarding an order that was submitted to my office this morning. I need to verify an address to present you with your formal claim. Your residency and place of employment. Dear, P. You have charges in a claim against you. At this point, we only have one opportunity. If you contact the firm handling your claim to discuss this matter immediately. That firm can be reached. At A (855) 681-1065. Again, your claim number listed on this order is, 123456. James Edward Parker. You have officially been notified.

I got the same call from a lady named Rachel Miller saying she was giving me one chance to call back and that charges were filed against me.  At the end, she said, "You have officially been notified."  :)

Lady named Andrea called my job and told me to call 1-866-243-0550. then 30 min later another lady called and told me she was serving me in 30 min if i dont call 855-681-1065. okay see you then.

I called called just now from 814-808-4758. The lady was rude from the moment I answered and address me by my maiden name which I've been married for over 15 yrs. She stated I was getting served for charges and needed to verify my address. I said served for what by who and she said "oh, didn't you get notified yet by them" I said "by who" and she said "I don't know, we are hired to confirm you address and SS#". I stated it sounds pretty fishy and like a scam so I hung up. She then proceed to call me 5 times in row and finally left a rude message saying charges were being filed against me and that I need to call 855-681-1065 to confirm my info, then said this is your first and final warning.

I started trying to look who they were and only got Global. But no idea, then I found this site and I see everyone is talking about Payday loans, I've never even had a payday loan so I don't know what's up. It's scammish to me! Watch out!

They called last night, my son answered and they actually told him that they are going to take his mom to court for a non-paid bill! They scared him. I called them today and the woman said that she will serve me with court docs, i told her fine just come by, it's 6pm and nobody showed up.... Why don't we all talk to a lawyer and sue this company for violation of FDCPA and harassment!

Did they ever come to your house?  what was the outcome.  They called me too.  Save deal.  I told them to go to hell.

I got a call from one of their agents, in fact the first contact he called 3 times within 5 minutes while I was asleep at 7:30am. Bullcrap if you ask me.. Then the guy screams at me at the top of his lungs and threatens that there are charges against for fraud?? Tried offering to pay $20 a month with money order and he said no, it doesn't work that way you pay $100 now, $170 next week and that there are charges against and documents are served but I don't have any documents. Tried to get credit card #, but not having one asked to pay with money order. They refuse to give their address which last I checked is in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and needs to be reported to the attorney general and federal trade commission. They are required under law to provide an address.

Told him to go ahead and file charges, I will be filing charges for the damage his top of the lungs screaming did to my ears. Nobody yells at me like that. That is just pure harassment. And nobody threatens me like that either.

No they are a recovery firm for payday advances. They are a***s. Maybe if they would treat their clients with some respect maybe people would pay them

These people are a joke. They called my dad and said that they know everything. My father almost had a heart attack thinking I was in trouble. They people are f****ng dumb. I started to pay them back and they stopped taking the payments and that's my problem. U refused to take my payment. U are recovery for a payday advance service. So if u are going to serve me then do it. I wish u mother f****rs would show up to my door that mouth u had on the phon,e I bet u wont have here...

I got a call today. This guy called about 10 times non stop. then left a very rude message. Saying he was on his way to my house and i need to confirm my addess. Totally strange, so i had my neighbor go sit at my house with my daughter. this is sover the top. I'm a single parent i don't need some strange guy calling saying he's coming to my house.

I received a call from a processor, Jim Turner, at this number:  561-327-7357.  He threatened to serve me with documents and I needed to call this company Global at 855-681-1065.  I spoke to an actual person and it is a scam.  She wanted me to verify my mailing address, when I refused and asked for futher detail, she was very testy with me and hung up.  Beware of this and do not provide people with your personal information.

These people are breaking the law. There should be enough grounds for a Class Action Lawsuit. They threaten to file charges, but Payday Loan places can't file fraud charges, like a private party or bank or store. At least not in Colorado.

These practices are made illegal by the FDCPA, know your rights and know when you are being harassed and intimidated. Fight back and don't allow them to walk all over you!

Today i recieved this call from a company Global. He then called my work asking to speak with me. He did saying that this is to confirm that there has been some pending charges against you i said for what what is the charges he said i'm sorry maam i don't have that information. He then gave me a number to call so i called this # it's out of order (WTF) i called back cause there was a phone # (I can't even leave a message cause it said this is an investigation firm sorry can't leave a message. So this guy called again i told him to stop calling me this is my work i hung up, then he called i hung up again then he called spoke with my manager so dumb so he asked what is our address here @ work my manager gave'em. Will wait and i'll f****n show him pending charges f****ng WHITE BOY.

Collection company from a pay day loan store. Claim they will serve you with court papers if balance is not paid in full. When told you cannot pay and will have to go to court, are placed on hold and are connected to account manager who tries to intimate you into a payment arrangement. I told them I'm unemployed. I do not have any fix income at the moment, and therefore cannot commit to any arrangement. When he threaten to send me to court, I told him, it doesn't change the fact I have no fix income. I'll go to court and tell the judge the same thing. Became agitated and in a rude tone advised me to be prepared to be served, but he never asked for my address.

Just another case of collection bullying.

I just got the same call from some man saying something about serving me papers

Got a call saying to call this number a claim or something was filed against me.. Not sure what this is.  The woman that called me said that she was going to give me 30 minutes to call them and she would call me back so she can deliver the documents to me.  I never called sound like she was calling from a phone bank.  If anyone else got this kind of call please post.
