I get a call on our business line once or twice a day, sometimes they leave a message about an "urgent matter with your Rogers account" and sometimes they don't.  The confusion lies in whether this is or is not a scam number.  Some people here say it is, in fact, Rogers, and that Rogers themselves say it's genuine.  Then other people say it's a scam and is definitely not Rogers.  Who's right?  It would be nice to know one way or the other?ideally without me having to answer the call myself, ha-ha.

they called me, and it sounded like a scam, so I called Rogers *611 from my phone and they said my account is all paid up, and there is no call log history of any calls made to me.

That says a lot right there. Do not deal with these people for anything. Call Rogers directly, yourself, from your phone.

So I did some investigation. This is a cold call from a SCAM telemarketing company. I called Roger and they went into the call log, and identified they did not call. They have no affiliation with Rogers. DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO OR CREDIT CARD INFO.  The SCAM telemarketing company said I owe them $100.00 and I could pay over the phone with a credit card. I did not, because I know my bill was uo to date.

1 to 2 calls daily for the past 2 weeks. BLOCKED, that should do it :)

The fact that this number is asking for a lot of personal information suggests that a scammer is trying to extract any details they can from people they target. Whenever that happens, just do NOT give it to them. I learned the hard way and will never be a target for abusive calls.

I had the same thing happen. They left a message on my machine telling me it was imperative that I call back for an important message. I didn't return the call. Then they called again a few minutes ago, so thank you for alerting me to the fact that I'm not in any trouble.

I called direct to the cable office and they indicated to me after a search of their data base that this is not a Rogers number but could be a third party calling. They suggested that we call directly to the Roger's customer service line to be sure you are speaking to a secure party.

This number is unbelievably abusive it called me and I picked up it was Rogers credit so we set up a plan to pay then not even half an hour later called me back with the wrong payment plan

Got three messages today, turns out I had an overdo bill.  A little aggressive for a one time issue if you ask me.

we left Rogers MONTHS ago... all settled up (in fact, they owe US a small sum) ...  getting 3 calls a day... i try to ring the number and can't get through...

Per Rogers modus operandi, they are harassing their customers. I returned their call and they wanted a lot of personal information. Strange to say the least...you call me and then ask "who am I speaking with?" What is your address, home phone number, etc....you called me!

This Rogers number is calling me twice a day.  Saying they need to talk to regarding an urgent matter with my account.  When I call the number back, there is no issue with my account.  So frustrating.  Additionally I thought it was odd as we have a family phone plan, and my cell number is not the main contact number.  There are no calls to any other numbers on the plan, including the one listed as the contact number.  Abusive.  Will be looking for a new cell provider

This is an abusive Rogers Credit Operations office number, 3 to 7 calls a day for the last week even after I had made arrangements with another Rogers office. My bill is 1 month in arrears and is less than 300 dollars yet the office for this number claims there are 2 outstanding bills for over 750 dollars. I have reported this to Rogers and have been told that each office is independent of the other one so that is the reason for the calls. When my contract is up with Rogers I WILL be changing providers !

Who is calling and not speaking?

Keep getting this call from Rogers. It says they need to speak to me regarding an "urgent" matter about my account. My account has no issues like being overdue or whatever but I called the number back and I got a customer service rep who can't seem to figure out what it's about. They have been keep calling once a day for the last week or so.

When I called back it said Rogers credit operations

This is Rogers Cable Sales dept promoting new services.
