If you have a mobile phone, download a call blocker app. There are a lot of free ones.
I'm blocked them today. Five calls from them in a one hour period was ridiculous.

I get calls every day several times!  Very annoying.

I have received calls from this number a couple times a day for the past few weeks.  There's never a message left.

855-728-4012 is the lovely people of Verizon Wireless.  When you finally talk to an actual person and tell them to stop f... calling they say sorry, read from a dictated speech, and then state it will take up to 30 days to remove your name from their call list.  I guess that means I have to wait for a few more weeks until they stop calling. How nice. Hope they go out of business for continued harassment of their customers.

This is VerizonWireless Sales. I believe related to upgrading plans (my contract just expired and they have been blasting me with emails).

Called the number back and received the automated attendant indicating my call would be directed to a VerizonWireless Sales Representative.

Need to find out who it is.

I get calls from this number every day around 6 to 7 PM.  The phone rings about 6 times.  If I pick up there is dead silence and nothing.  After I hang up it calls back again.  There are always 2 calls in a row.  Weather I pick up or not. Nothing is ever there.

same info as what was posted below. Call came in from this number, rang about 6 times, no voicemail message left. Then call came in immediately afterwards from the same number, rang 6 times and no voicemail left.

Multiple calls from this number - it is only the latest in their line of numbers that they use.  Even if I answer, the call will end within 5 or 6 seconds.  They call my cell phone roughly twice a week for the past two years.

Makes me want to switch off Verizon.

Wow!  What a great resource this is.  Like the rest of you, I've been getting this call up to twice a day for the last several weeks.  I've never answered on principle alone, but got aggravated enough to go online and put the number into a search engine.  I am also on the Do Not Call Registry, but this must not matter to Verizon.

I've been receiving this call around 8-9 p.m. the past few nights. No messages left so I answered once, got nothing, then they hung up. I see on here it's a Verizon number, don't know why they are calling me as both my husband and I have a different carrier and no land line.

This number called twice within a 2-minute time period and didn't leave a message.

The exact same thing is happening to me EVERYDAY!!  Very annoying!  The last time I answered it and told them to stop calling me, they hung up on me.  Hmmm??

I am a Verizon customer but I have begged them to stop calling me.

I missed one of these calls (fortunately) while I was on the phone with somebody I actually wanted to talk to.  I Googled the phone number and wound up here.  I'm glad to find out who's calling, and *not leaving a message"!  I've also been bothered by calls everyday from "private number", but that's another gripe for another time!

Twice a day everyday ... AFTER I said DO NOT CALL.  WIll soon be losing my business.

A call from this telephone number came in at 5:48 pm. It just so happened we were sitting down for an early dinner. The caller's voice was so low I couldn't understand what she was saying. She never clearly identified herself. Finally, I informed her that we are on the federal do not call list. I requested to note my account that I do not want solicitation calls.

I only know it was Verizon who called from reading several blogs.

I have received at least 50 calls from this number in the past month. Often, but not always, two back to back calls. I used to leave my phone on at work for emergencies and due to this number calling me on a ridiculous basis, I can't do that. It disappoints me that my carrier would result to phone stalking. They have already had me as a loyal customer for years and are about to loose me for these tactics.

I just ordered a phone online and lowered my minutes. My renewal period is up... I'm wondering if that was the trigger?

Glad to know it is verizon.  Why not leave a message?  It drives me crazy.  If they want to get in touch w/ me leave a message like the rest of the world does.

Someone from Verizon is calling me everyday from this number.  They say nothing when I answer and then they hang up. The only way I knew it was Verizon is because I called the number back and got a Verizon Automated Answer. Isn't this harassment?
I do not have and do not want Verizon service for anything.

I've had 13 back two at a time every day since March 9th.  Please stop.  I'm on the Do Not Cal List!

It's the Verizon customer service department. Generally they don't call unless they need to inform you of something, are offering a promotion or you scheduled a call with them. It's an existing business relationship so they're allowed to do so.

The reason they don't leave a message is so as not to discuss your account with an unauthorized party.

I got 2 calls in a row at 10:59 AM today, no message.  If it is advertisment for Verizon than this is crab.  You don't call people any hour of the day and then don't leave a message.  Anyway I wouldn't make no deals over the phone.  If I want more minutes or something I go to one of their stores or On-line.  I sure don't need them to call me.

Missed call.  Did not answer since I did not recognize the number.  Nice to know it was only a telemarketer from my carrier, Verizon.  This is a great resource!

I finally answered after getting calls from this number for a few weeks. I didn't say anything, but it was a man from Verizon Wireless asking for my full name. After I said nothing, he said if I have any questions to call Verizon Wireless back at the number he called me.
