I received two calls today and ended up hanging up. I didn't even write down the guy's name but he said he was from Civil Litegations Group. I asked if that was the name of the company he said yes.  When they called my office it was local to where I live and work. I didn't answer that call then they called my cell which is an out of state number but called from a number local to that location. The message on my office # said it was a company called S.D.S. I am so sick of these calls. I have recieved several calls over the past few weeks that someone is coming to serve me papers and still no one has showed up.

I got a call from this number and it was Amy Jones.  Left a message just like all the others.

I also received numerous of calls from this number. The latest name I got was from a Nick Rosen stating that they'll be at my house between 2-4 today and if they can't reach me they'll be at my job. At the end of the message he says "oh and best of luck"  When I call back they want my information. I asked who or what company I owe money to and they won't tell me. I'm my sure what to do at this point, bc now they're harassing me.  

i got the same call and a message from a Linda Darwin stating they were going to deliver documents to my home address and she left me a message with my home address. Hmmmmm i know i have debt but i have not yet once received any correspondence from the collector or from which the debt is from. they've called me a total of 19 times. I returned a call as well and was talked to very nasty woman who refused to put with the contact person who left me a message.  im so over it, its on my credit score im sure but i will not tolerate the harassing calls

you should know this number 855-738-3972 is just a collection agency and they are just trying to collect a debt.  Do not give them any information not your phone number, not your address, not your social security number and especially not your personal information.  Here is how to handle these people some guy named Collin called saying he was a detective and had an arrest warrant I call Bull s*** on this he is a fat liar.  You as a consumer should know never take a harassing call and just hang up on them expecially if they try to dodge answering your questions!  I told him he is a  fake and there is no arrest warrant  and that I knew he was a fraud he started yelling and I yelled back to him that he is too stupid and that I was not falling for his scheme and also told him DO NOT CALL BACK!  You can sue these people if they keep harassing you so be aware you have rights save their number in your phone and put the name in as do not answer collector so when they call back you already know who they are and avoid answering your phone!

Got a Call at work and they left a message.  Threatened a Civil Lawsuit and had to serve some papers between the hours of 1-3 pm at my work.  I called the phone number back and first got a Hulio, and then a Christine when I talked to her she said she was from LRB law firm. I asked her for the address of the company and she would not give it to me.  That is always the flag that this is a scam.

After reading the helpful Articles Online I did contact the local Sheriff, State Attorney General, FBI.gov, and ic3.gov.  To reassure anyone out there that is scared to get served papers.  Getting served is not a bad, scary, or wrong event.  It is the way to legally get you documents so you know that someone is taking you to court.  One suggestion the Sheriff gave if they keep calling tell them to meet you at the local Sheriffs office to serve you the papers.  I cannot say this enough, the CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER IS A SCAM! Not every scammer is going to ask for money, personal information usually leads to a bigger pay day for them.
