He hasn't shown up and hasn't called again. Scare tactic seems to be true... Messages left at so called company offices(after hours) asking for documents delivered via mail along with a copy of "'Mr. Clark's" photo ID and credentials produced nothing, either.

Tom Clark my a**; its a b.s. bill collector and he won't show up at your house, he won't show up at your work, its all scare tactics. Just tell him to "go to hell and do what you gotta do"; which is NOTHING. F-em'

I was not home for the whole 3-5 time frame and have not had any papers delivered to me. His number comes up as NO CALLER ID and a return call won't go through.  I agree, everyone I've known of that was being served papers were not called in advance. So far I've seen no one.  You can't scare money that I don't have out of me- lol

"Deliver the served papers"?! You get served or you don't. The summons or whatever cannot be handed to a person twice.

For the last time, no one is "delivering papers", "serving papers", or even making paper airplanes. The "papers" either don't exist or are barely fit for lining a birdcage. If you review some of the CFPB and FTC material already linked, you will reach the same conclusion. These are thugs making idle litigation threats, which are illegal.

We shall see... Just received a call (voicemail) from Tom Clark again stating that it was my third and final notice regarding my case. Stated that he will be at my residence today between 3 and 5( last week it was between 12 and 5). If he is unable to make contact with me today he will surrender the documents as a refusal to sign(to whom?). I'm also supposed to present him with a state ID. Hmmm. Has anyone actually seen this guy? I've called the callback number and left messages stating that I want all documentation sent to me via postal service and need a picture ID and credentials for this person- haven't received anything yet.

Did anyone deliver papers to you?

I just got the same call(Tom Clark), stating that he will be at my house between 12 and 5 on Monday and I must make arrangements to be there with state ID. The website for the call back number has a phone number, an email address( that doesn't work) and a fax number(not sure about that. It shows pics of people that "work there" but no names. It's all very fishy. I don't know if he's actually gone to anyone's house or place of employment( like he said he would if he didn't catch me at home). I'm not convinced this is all legitimate.

I just got the same call from Tom Clark in a threatening tone and was instructed to be available at my residence on Monday.

I was told in a threatening voice by "Tom Clark " that he was calling in reference to a file placed in his office this morning. He said it was a certified document and that I will be served on March 24 at my residence and for me to be there. If I'm not available at my residence, arrangements will be made through my employer for the documents to be served at my place of employment. He gave 855-754-8686 as a number to call and said "you have been notified and I will see you on Monday."  The caller id said number blocked or - so I wasn't able to see where Mr Clark was call in from.

So, if they threatened to serve you, did they follow through?

"Sounding threatening" is all they can do. That's the only angle they have. Ignore them. Block their calls. Legitimate debt collectors adhere to the FDCPA. Frauds play with the old threats. They all have dreams of living in the fast lane. The best they can do is ride the bus. The foreign ones can't even do that.

got  a call stating I would be served on a Friday and needed to be home to receive paperwork for court case on bill owed. sounded threathening

left message on cell to call back and they are going to serve me at my place of work or house...lots of red flags here you are not pre warned of being served. They will not tell you who they are, they call you on a private number. Lots of issues going on here they are not representing anyone they bought your file and now they are scaring you into paying a debt that they purchased at pennies on the dollar
