Just received a call from this number and it was Ms. Jones saying something about check fraud, she need my statement.

It says they use professionals to seek and get back money owed any way they can. It could be from assett recovery method  including taking legal action to pay debt off.

This is the number left on a messege to call back. They called from 18552507057. There are other numbers they call from also.

Just received a call from 855-250-7057 to call 855-755-4938, called the first number and got Martha, she transferred me to Stacy, asked her for the New York State bar number she refused stating I had to give them my information, advised checked with estate of New York bar association for Cohen & greenman and they aren't licensed, when I asked for the state bar # again she said I still had to provide information to get it, she asked then when u went to the website did I get all the information needed I said no, it didn't have the bar # on the website, I told her I need that it's public information. She then said I need your information and I stated no, I am contacting the authorities and I hung up.

I have been receiving calls from "Steven Meyers" from "Cohen & Greenman" past couple days now from phone numbers:
(855) 393-4946
(855) 250-7057
and threatening phone call from this "Legal Document Courier Service from the county" and it all comes from the same numbers.

My message also said it was regarding a tax year and an incorrect filing. These scum bags will try anything, all the other calls I get are usually payday loan scams and they have even called my mothers work #.

Well now theyre calling my phone leaving the same messege for my husband with a different file number than what they said yesturday. I didnt answer or call back

?Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.
?Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.

My husband got called by a buy a guy sayibg  he needed to call immediately by 8pm est. Time . He said due to the end of the 2013 fiscal tax year, termination on a tax file number(they give) may be affected and to call 1-855-755-4938. But they called from 1-855-393-4946
The guy did not leave his name just to press 1 to be connected.

These people call every few days for of a person with out last name and a different first name. I answer and tell them that its not us but they still call back. They are threatening this person with an officer of the court coming to visit them and are very rude and just not smart people.
They never say the name of the company so I can write them or try to look up the business with out calling them. Each time  I talk with one of them, I ask for junk phone calls to stop but I have quit trying.

I received the same call from JOE STEIN. He actually asked me out for a date. I think he's gay by the feminine voice he has. Maybe he needs to scam me out of money so he can get a sex change. his number he call from was 213-401-2330 but he insisted i called the 855-755-4938 number. Maybe its his OBGYN number and he needs payment there.

They actually called today to me as well stating they would not provide me any further information in writing as their next step is legal. I told her legally of they are planning to sue I have right to information as to the company who is suing me and their information. She refused said to settle the debt. Told her I filed bankruptcy and she tried to intimidate me with fees for adding the debt on. Advised her it's chance I will take. She hung up

Joe Stein must have an identity crisis right now.  He called today, only now he's Chris Stein.  Gonna serve me papers in Monroe County.  Wants me to call 855-755-4938.  This was his sixth call to me in the last six weeks

REC'D A CALL TODAY FROM A RESTRICTED#, SAYING HE WAS "JOE STEIN, HERE WITH THE LEGAL DOC & COURIER SERVICE FOR THE COUNTY".  GAVE A NOTICE ID#, & SAID HE WAS ATTEMPTING TO SCHEDULE FOR TODAY.  GAVE A CALLBACK# OF 855-755-4938,THEN ABRUPTLY HUNG UP.  MOST PROCESS SERVERS DON'T GIVE YOU A WARNING CALL - THEY JUST SHOW UP. . . . . . . .

I received this same phone call today and was threatened with jail time and since I don't have a criminal record they would like to settle this today and for like 15 minutes. Unbelievable

Got a call from a blocked number leaving a message from Legal Document Courier Service.  Stated about a delivery of documents (typical scam B.S.) and to call 855-755-4938 to speak with the company prior to delivery.  Sounded all intimidating and scary.  OOOOOOOOH.  I'm shaking.  Someone trying to scare people into paying for outdated or invalid debt.  Scam people.
