This number also calls from 877-818-3394. Stating they are from UAC, not a clue who that is but they sure do want to speak to Tyrone C. Nobody I know has the number they keep calling on. I don't even know who Tyrone is. They call 5 times a day, after telling them "sorry I don't know a Tyrone, please remove me from ur list", they then proceed to ask me where he is or how to get a hold of him, ummmm duh, what part of "sorry I don't know a Tyrone" did u not understand?? Was it not broken English enough for you? Ugh! Blocked these numbers.

This number has called me 3 times today on my cell. Last time they called, they left a message but no talking just silence. I won't answer this number again after reading these comments. Sounds like they just want info that they have no business getting.

This company is Car Hop, a car dealership/ buy here pay here place. They are either getting reference info or are looking for someone who missed a payment usually. I just never answer if I can help, they are usually very rude and aggressive with me and they are looking for my friend, not me.

I had to give 15 (fifteen!) references to get a car from them...ran upon hard luck, lost job, and now they call everyone I used as a reference and harass them, which I believe is illegal. I feel terrible about it, but am doing my best to claw out of extreme poverty.

they called me a 3rd time-don't know how they got my name-it was NOT given to them on a job reference. That was a lie!! I reported them to the attorney  general's office in our state of Kansas since I am on a no-call list here.

This number is uac and the only way to get your name removed is figure out what friend bought a car from carhop. Then call this number tell them friends name and request they take your name off that persons reference list.

This number called my friend and said they were calling her as a reference for me! This is impossible and I don't appreciate them using my name at all

I don't need calls like this about an individual that has given me as  a reference, and has a need to contact me for more info.

these  f(&king people call me a hundred time's a day,, ,,,,,,,,were are they located???????????......I'm not busy at all, and I'm  on vacation' would love to go visit them  

Number has called twice in last 2 days.

I just received a call and I decided not to answer it since I'm at work.  The message was very muffled in what was being requested, but she knew my name and clearly said the phone number to call back.  I called back from an empty cubicle and it just had a cryptic machine.  Glad to find this web site confirming that I can just ignore the call and move on with my day.

Just got a call from the same tweeker chic reported above. Tried to get my social and whatever she was saying made no sense whatsoever. Told her I wouldn't fall for her scam and hung up. Number is now on block list.

this number has called me a total of 25!!!! times in one week! I never answer so they leave voice mails the person on the other end sounds like a homeless chick on bath salts. finally today i answer and they didnt say a single work. i have a 15 minute conversation with myself all while taking a s***. I hope they leave me alone from now on :)

This company is calling my cell phone. I returned the call and was told it was UAC and to give them my account number, my phone number or my social security number for verification. When I was told that someone would be with me shortly, I ended up getting a busy signal. I want to block this number from future phone calls.

I got a call from them asking for a reference for someone I don't know. But they knew my full name. I ask where they are located and she said Edina MN. So I asked why the 855 #? She kept asking if I knew the name...I asked her what cities Edina is by and she wouldn't answer said she can't disclose information to me. So I said "you cant tell me what f***ing city your located by!" And she hung up.

They called me to get contact info for a person who used me as a reference on a car loan. Apparently my friend skipped out on a loan from them.

Recieved a call asking for someone but gave no details what it was pertaining to. Hung up instantly!

This number left a message stating they were calling for a reference check for ---- -----. I checked with my friend and he thinks it is his finance company because he was one payment behind on a car payment. I won't be returning the call but that is probably what it is for.

This number called my phone asking for information on a friend. They were extremely rude and when asked who they were, they would just continue to repeat, "Do you know -------- ---------?" Want information about my friend. They refused to tell who they were or where they we're from.

I received a phone call from this number as well asking for detailed information regarding a friend, such as phone number, address, email accounts, etc.  I did not give any information because they refused to say what company they were from.  They claimed to need to "verify the information they had for a loan application,"  but wanted me to give information rather than them asking questions.  Anyone know who they are or what they are calling about?

Left a message saying that they were calling to obtain a reference for a friend. Did not say company or type of reference. I let the machine pick it up, and I will check with my friend before returning the call.
