6/19/14, appx 1/1:30pm Mtn. time, call from 855-770-9854 (yet, when I did *60 #01# to add it to the block list, the system announced that I had blocked 855-770-5247).  Left no msg on machine.  I have never had a "payday" or similar loan in my life.  Google trolling both numbers indicates this is most likely rip-off pseudo-debt collectors or similar, very possibly entirely a scam.  Google search results indicate calling party may be related or BE the allegedly phony, non-existent firm "Baxter, Roth & Feinstein" who has masqueraded behind a "Global Account Receivables LLC" entity.  The former supposedly being in/of New York state, and other search results indicate the BRF/GAR entity has spread to Georgia as of some months or more ago.  Interesting that the 'payday loan' entity search results indicate the callers claim to represent DOES NOT DO BUSINESS IN MY STATE.

Call from a 1-855-296-7962 said his name was ken porter a process server trying to serve me paper's from a company stating i who a payday loan for $250.00 but legal fee's made the balance be $650.34
spoke with tom martin ext 720 and his boss who state i need to pay some thing to day to hold my account to make payment arrangements for the debt. i ask him what was the payday loan company name  he could not give a name stated bayside i have never applied for a loan with a company name bayside. They had my bank information ss and email address.  i told them to send me some information to may email address about what i owe have not gotten a email from them

they called my place if employment and stated that i was about ti be served and that if i called this number 1-844-506-7763 i could probably stop it. they claim i took out a loan last january 2013 for 250.00 and because if interests and fees i owe them 1015.00 and it was going to court and i would be arrested, i have never borrowed money from this company, they had my last four if my social but all they had was my work number and a home address from 10 years ago, what can i do?

You were told wrong.  Payday loans ARE covered under bankruptcy.  If you've filed bankruptcy, and alleged creditors are coming after you, contact your bankruptcy lawyer and let them know.

Per the FDCPA, you should not pay any caller who refuses to MAIL - do not accept email or fax - proof that you owe a debt and proof that your caller has the legal right to collect said debt.  Refusal to mail this documentation within five days of their first call to you is a violation of federal law.  Threatening you with jail is yet another violation of federal law.  Please do let your workplace know you're being harassed by either scammers or shady junk debt buyers.  Again, per federal law - if they can't mail proof that you owe them, then they can go pound sand.  More info here:

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

ok well i got a phone call from a stepanie didnt give me any information informed me that is urgent that i give them a call  1/844/799/7901 at first she didnt tell me that i owed them anything. I called back and they stated that i owed a payday loan and on march 13 i closed the account and that i owe 1,015 they stated they have been sending out emails and everything i never received a email and that bayside collection had been contacting me. they are going to summons me and i have to appear in court and if so then i have to come up with the money or i will be locked up i no nothing about nothing never got any notices about this i cant even find a number to the bayside collection agency what payday loan company. They keep calling my job they have my date of birth and the last digits of my social im terrified i dont know if i should pay this money back or not.

I got a call from Brandon Wise at Nationwide CHK Processing.  I received a call a couple of months ago from some foreigner named "Ettinger".  They are threatening to have me served.  I asked this Mr. Wise for a phone # for Bayside and an e-mail address, which he gave me, HOWEVER, both give me the run around and I never get in touch with a "real person".  I am at my wits end.  I can't get anything settled because of the above.  I live in S.C.  I guess I should get in touch with our attorney general?  Grateful for any replies.

Does anyone out there have a contact # for Bayside Cash?  I paid out a loan March 2012 and I am getting calls from collection agencies fraud investigators, etc. that I owe them money.  I need to get this straightened out.

Just received a call from 855-770-9855 on my office's direct land line, was asked if I am an attorney (I am a research scientist at a nonprofit cancer research center) and was threatened with litigation by someone claiming to have received repeated calls from my line soliciting for magazines and asking for payment. He indicated his attorney was "in the next room" and he was going to talk to him about coming after me. This is the number that showed up on my caller id, but when I called it back, someone else answered, said he was "getting all sorts of weird numbers" because he is foreign, refused to tell me the name of the "store" he was working at, claimed I had the wrong number and then hung up.

He would not give me my original loan amount but that the total was $1015.  Very rude individual...told me to keep quiet until he was finished talking. called to say i owe bayside cash 540.00.refused to give me a physical address and told me to that they are working with jgp associates also so there is more than one person you are dealing with. i thought about making payment arrangements and went through with it but after reading and trying to find information about this company.i found out bayside cash is not licensed to do business in tn therefore according to other post i am only responsible for the initial loan amount of 300 which according to various blogs i am not responsible for interest on this loan at which ive paid 180.00. So i think i will try to pay the other 120.00 owed to bayside cash by moneyorder. they threaten to sue and claim they are lawyers which they are not just another collection agency. i also tried to find out more informaation about this agency but cannot locate them. Very fishy.
