There is something fishy about it.....I have payment plan I am current on......and they are cliaming I have not made any payments.

I called in to the actual billing dept for Multi Care that you can find ion the yellow pages.....and they said I am current.  This number comes up NO WHERE in there system.  I believe this is a scam number.

I'm not certain why you didn't get a message from this number. They left one for me. It's Multicare hospital calling regarding billing account. At least that's who the number belongs to now. I suppose it is possible that it belonged to someone else in the past, but that doesn't seem likely.

Hate to disappoint. This isn't a spammer or phisher. I the Multicare Medical Billing office for the Multicare group of hospitals in Washington State. It is a legitimate phone call. If you have received medical treatment in the Tacoma Washington area, they wish to discuss payment options with you.   Listing the number as a debt collector isn't exactly correct but there are no other appropriate 'types' to choose from.

We are constantly receiving calls from 855-783-4362. They always hang up when you try to accept the call. They never leave a message. I wonder if anyone else receives unwanted calls from this number?  BH
