For legitimate Debt Collections, they should have no problems giving you their real address, send them a cease & desist as per  what you need to know and follow the steps. To file complaints:
file reports with  your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,FTC & FCC, and the CFB..

This is a scam do not call them back
they ask for your bank account no. and want you to pay a bill that is no longer due.

This is a collection agency that pulls your credit report and illegally calls and threatens you for bills that you have paid or are not longer relevant
Contact your state attorney general to report them.

My mom bills are high they need to stop calling my mom house everday. She stuggling they not giving her time to pay her bills.

They still call my mom house everday. My mom bills is already high she is struggling. They not giving her time to pay her bills. They bothering her.

They call my mom house everday saying nothing they always hang up the phone. They play on the phone too much.

They will just use one of their million other robo lines to torture you.  File a complaint against them with your state attorney general's office.  It's free and they will stop them in their tracks.

They even call on Sunday afternoons!

If this is Donnie ***** press 1....If you know how we can reach Donnie ***** press 2.  I do not know Donnie and am not required by law to know the whereabouts of everyone sharing the same last name.  this time called on Sunday....random calls most days when I am not at home. No option for I am not Donnie, I do not know Donnie and do not call me again.

Please, folks...lot's of fun but it isn't going to really help.  Contact your state attorney's office and file a complaint against them.  Be sure to provide the time and date of every call and the response you get...such as "no message" or "no one there when you pick up" or they have the "wrong person".  If you live in a state where your elected officials actually care about you and not Wall Street this should end these calls fast and under some circumstances you may be entitled to monetary compensation from them!  

If you don't live in a state where your elected officials care about you, well you know what to do in the voting booth.  Only we, the people, can change America for the better!

What ever you do DO NOT TALK TO A DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY, IT STARTS THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS FOR DEBT COLLECION OVER AGAIN and that is why they want to talk to you.

Calls and calls all hours of the day/evening. NEVER leaves a message. I do not return calls to 800 anything numbers. I plan to block them. If they want to talk to me let them send me a letter!!

Call all the time?

This number has called my house phone for a month. No one ever answers it because they call when no one is home. Today they called at 10:46 am and I was home so I answered. They asked for my sister-in-law by name. I told them no one lives here by that name and they asked me if I was sure. I said yes very sure. They then said so X(brother-in-law) and Y(sister-in-law) Z(Last name) don't live there. I said no you got the wrong Z. Before I could ask them who it was they hung up. So I let my sister-in-law know. It's up to her what happens but this isn't the first time someone has called my house phone looking for my brother-in-law and his wife.

How can these collectors be punished? I owe no money that would involve a debt collection agency. I sometimes return these calls with a very "explicit" text message. I hope somebody is reading them on the other end.

I got a call from these people this morning at 7:40 this morning. Asked for me by name. Did not identify themselves whatsoever. Was, in fact rude. Demanding payment for "an overdue debt". Did not at anytime say what the debt was for or to whom. In fact, didn't ID themselves whatsoever. I just hung up on these, supposedly, upstanding individuals. I know I will get more calls, but we generally don't answer toll free calls. It is ALWAYS some looser either trying to sell something or, in this case, a less than honorable "business".

I am 18 and don't have any credit cards and don't owe any money to anybody for anything.

Called on a Sunday.  It was automated and asked for Oneee  some one.  Am assuming it is a debt collector and am going to put them on call block.  We don't owe any one any debt that needs collecting.  We get a lot of these for an Ex wife from 20 yrs. ago!  Never has lived here and had to have our phone number changed a few times because of her.  Eventually we had to contact the D.A.'s office for her using our I.D. and trying to say she was still married to my husband pretending she was me!  I can't seem to wrap my mind around this continual harrassment by this person and the creditors.  I think they know and can't find her to collect so they assume I will turn her in, but she is the last person I want to try to keep track of or do their dirty work for her. Again, I called the number back and it says it is Credit Management.  I am only assuming it is a debt collector because of the Oneee.....the X's name is Roni.

These dummies had the guts to leave a voicemail. Wait for it........

"(barely understandable name) Toyota is reminding Mr. and Mrs. ******** (killed my name) your 20** Scion (which the b**** killed the name) is up for 35 thousand mile check up."

Few points here:
1. Not married
2. Don't own the car anymore.
3. Anyone who works at a Toyota dealer will talk on the phone clearly with professional tone.
4. Again, anyone who works at a Toyota dealership will say Scion without sounding like a idiot.
5. Toyota dealers don't call from 800 phone numbers.
6. Toyota dealers also don't remind you appointments that were never made by the car owner EVER.

Sorry dummies- the original billing office will receive my payment not you! Keep on calling; do whatever tricks you want to do: I'm just going to keep on ignoring these calls since I'm night-shifter who leaves the phone on vibe 24/7/365s.  I'm going to keep these so called "tricks" messages on my voicemail account just in case for possible form of harassment.

I finally answered it and recording said we are trying to reach "my name" if you are or know press 1.  I pressed 1 and then the recording said if you are "name" press 1 again,.  I did and the phone hung up!  I want to talk to someone b/c I want to know who says I owe something b/c I know I don't!

i got a phone call from that number, but no message. it could a collection agent. but i do not owe anyone, except my normal bills every month.

I have received calls from a few different #'s and none of them leave a message.

No message left but I called the next day out of curiosity... they were looking for someone else. The lady I spoke with was very nice!It was NCO Financial calling.

This numer rings my business cell phone # several times a day every day.

This number comes up to a local casino, but answers CMI and they do call on Sundays.  Who do you report to??

They call and act as if they are your friend right off the bat.

I missed the last call from these scum-sucking bottom feeders, but apparently, my previous conversation with them did no good as I received another call from them yesterday, 1/23/13, at 7:41 p.m. (hence the downgrade to "scum-sucking bottom feeders") Central time.  Unfortunately, my husband answered it, and as I was having issues with something else, I have no idea what he said or did.  Hopefully, he simply hung up, and I can get them next time. So watch out with these people. They won't quit even when you can prove it's not you they're trying to get money from.
