Had this number & 844 number blocked from cells.. Total scam.  

Same is happening to me and I wish it would stop. This Terry Morris is as working with a Tommy DiCarlo  might be the same person. My identify was stolen so I question everyone now. Tommy guy said it was a class e felony and I was going to jail. You right they do call every two weeks. I blocked  their number now they calling from private. Some cruel people these days

This number popped up on my caller ID. I didn't recognize it so I let it go to Voice Mail. Listened tot eh Voice Mail and the message is the same as everybody else has been reporting. Caller identifies himself as a processor server and threatens legal action...blah..blah..blah. Put the number in my call blocking software.

I rec'd a message stating they would be taking legal action if I failed to contact them. I called and asked them to look up my number to see who they were trying to reach as it was definitely not me that they were looking for. He said ok mam and hung up on me. The company is called global check processing and the number is 855-790-0086

I reported this scammer to the FTC but without the address there is not much they can do. Does anyone have an address? I have a free attorney and would love to deal with this. They called me names and threatened me and don't know the meaning of the word exonerate. Lol.

Keep getting this number calling me all the time. This time I have a voice mail with them threatening me with legal actions, listing my address and threatening to come to my job. I called back twice and each time got someone different then the person that called me this time. First was Terry Morris, this message came from a Mike Bertoni and when I called back I got 2 different people, first I didn't catch his name but he hung on me when I refused to tell him who I was and told him not to call me again and if he did I would have my lawyer call. He said we will call you in 5 mins and hung up then when I called back, a Chris answered the phone. Didn't identify the name of the company so pressed him and he said "GC processing". STUPID PEOPLE!!! SCUM BAGS!!!

Received a voice mail from them (a person named T***y M*****s) on 2014-01-20 at 14:11 Eastern time, on my business phone. This is a debt collection company: Global Check Processing, Brooklyn NY, http://www.globalcheckprocessing.net/
They are looking for a woman who defaulted on a loan, gave an address in Leavenworth KS and my business number in Atlanta GA. (Isn't that in any way suspicious? Don't loan officers check if the address & phone are at least in the same area code?) I have been telling various collection companies for more than three years that I do not know that person and that since this is a VERY small company I personally know every person who has ever worked for me. The person who answered the phone at Global Check Processing was polite, explained the situation, and said I would not get any more calls from THEM - he can't pull my number from records of other companies.

Next time the call, ask them to hold while you record the conversation. They will hang up immediately.

Same exact thing happened to me.

I have had a bunch of messages left on my phone by a guy looking for someone else and when i called to let them know he hung up on Me. Very rude and i hope they stop calling now..

Some clown named Terry Morris threatened "further legal action" unless someone did not return his call.  He did not even specify who in my family the call pertained to-what a loser.  Please do NOT waste your time returning this SCAM artist's call.

I sit at work all day on the phones so on my cell I call continuously and don't say a word. They hang up and I redial. Sometimes for hours. I'm getting my work done while annoying the heck out of them. Try it during traffic when you have nothing better to do.

So this 855-790-0086 had been calling my personal cell, direct line at work and even my co-worker's line for a few Mondays, always leaving a message speaking a bit harsh, stating he's a process server and has court issued papers to serve never leaving a name to whom he's calling until this week.  I did call the number back, spoke to a guy who gave me a drawn out explanation of who they are, what they do, and how they're contracted through my county.  He did know a few personal info about me and went on to say if I pay my debt now, I can avoid jail time and triple the amount I may owe if I choose to take it to court.  To avoid EVERYTHING all I needed to do was pay the original amount of debt I owed & the following day they would send me a valid receipt.  I asked for something in writing from their office and the company I owed, the man said he was going to direct me to their banking dept so I can give them my email address.  The phones supposedly weren't able to transfer so he took my email addy and another guy got on the line asking for my form of payment which I declined to give.  It's been over an hour and still no email.  I googled the number online and came across this site & was grateful that I didn't give in to these scammers.  

I had a voice mail left by Terry Morris stating he was a process server and that I needed to contact them back or they would press legal action..... I have not called back as of yet I am appalled that people are so skeezy that they go after honest working people get a real job and get ur own money and stop trying to take ours. I have been served papers before they don't call first they knock on your door if u r not home they leave a card

Terry Morris calling threating with legal action.   I have paid whatever loan I had 2x now, and finally caught it.  There will be multiple collection agencies collecting the same debt.  Do not PAY, or Talk to them.  

Received a voicemail message last evening from a Derek Marshall for my daughter, stating that he had a warrant for her arrest and needed to speak to her immediately.  This person had way too  much personal information for my liking.  This call was quite disturbing and I would like to know how to proceed with this.  I did contact the BBB (which has the company, Bahama Marketing Group flagged) and was instructed that I should contact the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) at 877 382-4357 which i will do promptly.  I was also instructed by the gentleman at BBB that these payday companies are often hacked into and information is often obtained even if you have never used the company. It is a shame that the world is coming to such deceit!

Terry Morris has legal documents to sign, threatens if I don't get back voluntarily.

I just called this number and found out they are actually looking fo rmy ex-husband. We have been divorced since 2000!!!! They really need to make sure they are contacting the person they need prior to leaving a message sounding like a threat!!!

I had a message left on my voice mail from a very rude man. He needs to make sure the number he is calling is the person he is looking for!!!!!

Yep, just got the same call from a Terry Morriss.  I returned the call and it is was for a relative's debts.  They cannot do any legal action so they are just fishing for additional information on the person of interest.  He began to ask my relation with this person and other personal questions.  I advised him I will not answer those questions and hung up!

You are 100% correct!!!  These people are really stupid and are breaking all kinds of laws.  Whenever they call me (if I feel like entertaining myself) I as for the name of their company, supervisors, phone numbers, case numbers, original copies of the alleged offense, an email address, etc.  They are never able to provide this information.  The last time I spoke with one of these bottom feeders I gave him the phone number of my local sheriff's department (he wanted to know why he needed the number); I replied this this dipstick that the local sheriff asked me to have him call so he could 'assist' the dipstick in 'serving me the papers'.  Needless to say, he hung up on me; don't let these people intimidate you - they are phonies!

SO very glad I happened on this site. Got the same call from Terry Morris today. Said  there would be legal action against my son if he didn't respond. We were freaking out- trying to figure out what was going on. Definitely won't call back but will call the Attorney General.

I do believe that some of these are somewhat legitimate but they go about it so underhandedly and do tell lies to get what they want!  This number just called me and threatened me with arrest for 2 felonies and I went straight to my attorneys office and talked to them!  No one has filed anything with the courts and there is no arrest warrant out for me and my attorneys said they would take care of it!

I just had some what sounded like a real mean man leave me a message on my voicemail at work threatening legal action if I did not return the call, so if this is a scam I will not return the call, I will report it to our Attorney General.

Every monday around 9:15 am this guy calls threatening legal action if I don't call him back.  What a Scam!!!  He is looking for personal information.  Once you confirm a call back, he's got your number.  If you are silly enough to talk to him, he's got what ever you telling him about your personal life.  I hope someone tracks this down -- probably over seas?

My mom and my sister got the same call saying that I was about to go to jail for check fraud!  would need bail money.  They told my mom that they had been to my house and that was told that i no longer lived there by the land lord. Funny I am my own land lord and have lived there for many years. I filed a complaint with the District Attorney a year ago and it is starting again.

A message was left on my VM regarding a legal document I needed to sign and if I did not respond legal action would be taken against me. I called the phone number and spoke to an extremely rude man that informed me that they were looking for someone entirely different than me. He's obviously a loser that takes out his frustrations in life by being rude to others. Just another scam with a bunch of losers looking to make a quick buck.
