I received a phone call from Bob Davis ( Cross arbitration law firm ) non-existent.  They are stating I committed check fraud. Okay, I haven't written any checks. They said they would be serving me a summons at my home and place of employment.  Well, news to them I just moved and am with a new employer. I will be reporting this number to the federal government.

We received a call from a Sharon Daniels claiming to be from Attorney Jonathon Davis' office.  She said she needed to speak with the employee's supervisor.  We asked why and she stated that they just needed to speak to the supervisor.  We tried to determine who this call should have gone to and we transferred it to the Human Resource Dept.  The Sharon was nasty and and told the head of HR that she would have her job. What an a**hole.  Good Luck to you "Investigator" Daniels(that's how she answers her phone).  Really!!!! If there is a warrent out for your arrest, you don't get a warning, they come out and arrest you.  This is ILLEGAL.  We checked with our Legal Dept. and collection agencies
CANNOT!!!!!! call employees supervisors or co-workers. This does NOT mean that the person is "served".  They MUST be served in person.  So Ms. Daniels, tell "YOUR" supervisors that we are completely aware of the laws involving debt collection.  Stop passing yourself off as something you're not.  Your phone calls are ILLEGAL!!!!!!!  Continue to call and harrass places of business, and "YOU"
will be served.

scam..a guy named bob, who claims to be a paralegal, called and said i had 2 counts of fraud listed against my social security number...he called from a blocked number showing private on my phone and wanted me to return the call at an 800 numBer to pursue the matter, so i wouldnt be served a summons at my place of employment or home. mind you this was left on my voicemail. i have a friend who is an attorney and they called on my behalf, scam artist would not give my attorney any information about their practice of law, district attorney name and phone number, location of law practice ...they simply asked my attorney for my social security number and said that they needed to speak to me instead of my attorney. THEY ARGUED WITH MY ATTORNEY OVER THE PHONE BEFORE HANGING UP! my attorney suggested that i do not call these people back and give them anymore information besides my name and phone number that they already have and to report them to the police and state general attorney..the agency is not legit..DO NOT CALL THEM BACK IF THEY LEAVE YOU A VOICEMAIL..NO PARALEGAL OR ATTORNEY WILL CALL YOU TO SUE YOU OVER THE PHONE WITHOUT LEGAL DOCUMENTATION..THAT IS ILLEGAL AND AGAINST THE LAW!!!

i completely understand your concern i was called from these people as well  for my daughter and oddly enough when i gave my daughter the information and she called these people in fact it was inreerence to unfortunately an outstanding loan that she had neglected to pay due to her divorce. i too was shocked and hoped it was a scam because the person was vague with me but legally she could not give me too much information....however when my daugheter called everything made sense i think instead of being so critical of the people calling we should also try to mend the issue at hand that something our child has done wasnt right and should be rectified they are not the bad guys in this case my child was the delinquent and as you mentioned above they were calling  because your child owed money to several unpaid debts and this company or firm wasnt the only one that called maybe he should get a handle on these things and not look for a scapegoat and play blame games on the co. poss a warrant wasnt issued because he is hiding as you stated his numb was blocked and the probably dont have an address"im just saying when your wrong fix your end before you begin to blame others......i know that is what i did for my daughter i had her resolve the problem immediately it is soooooo embarassing!!!!!!

I got a call from these idiots as well they told me that they would serve me at my home and at my job they never did then I got a letter from court telling me that there was a judgement against me but I was never notified is this legal can I fight it.  Can the courts make me pay even though the firm really never served me, can I get the judgement vacated.

Watch out folks here is another scam.  Today I got a call from a supposed law firm wanting my son's wife's contact information.  They want it because he supposedly committed fraud.  Ok Now come on.  Why dont they know where he is?  This is rediculous.........  She said, her name was Gabrielle Delaney calling from either Attoney Banes or Vanes office in Missouri and that if we did not co-operate they would have to issue a bench warrant for my sons arrest.   Now this person in Missouri is going to issue a warrant for my sons arrest in Clearfield, Maryland and the kid has never even lived there.  What a hoot.  We played along and took all of the information that she would provide us, of course she wouldn't tell us what the fraud was or anything important.  I think I will keep her busy for a while and give someone else a break.  Please be aware!!!!!!  These people will stop at nothing to get your money - Dont Fall For It.  Good Luck

I just received a call from 855-791-6981.  The caller's name was Gabrielle Delaney From Attorney Bane or Vanes' office wanting to know if i am any relation to a person she believes to be my son.  I asked her why?  She states that he has commited fraud and that she needs to get a contact message or number to his wife or a warrant will be issued for my son.  She will not state what the warrant is for or any other information.   I told her he does not reside in our home and not to call again.  I received at leat 10 more quick phone calls from this moron of a person in a row.  On about the 11th call we left the phone on so she could just babble to the air.  If this sub-human of a person thinks for one minute that I can be suckered into this *scam* she is going to be very busy trying.     What a boob-a-rella.  After she finally hung up the phone we got another call from her about a hour later.  We again got all the information and told her well please, please,please  dont issue a warrant for his arrest we will do anything to help our son.  She was so excited to think we were going to help her she stated, that she would be in the office until 5 and gave us her phone number.  I ran the number and of course it does not come up.  They can not contact my son because his number is blocked.  We have received so many calls from different numbers in relation to our son and  loans he never paid back and how they were going to issue a warrant, to fraud.  It is sad  to think once they have tried they just dont stop.  Today we are having our number unlisted.  It's really a shame.   I am only posting this on here so others do not fall for this crap.    Good luck to you all

I just got a call from this phone number someone name Jason M. He is saying he is from some sort of law firm there is claim fought against me. I don't know what that is, and he give me a case number and say I am offically notify. Can they do that? leaving a voicemail and say I am officially notify? shouldn't I recieve something in mail?
