Left me a message to call them if the person they were looking for was not at this number.  Don't want to call for fear I will be charged something.  

One of these, apparently inexperienced, telemarketers called my cell phone wanting to speak to my son. I advised them that my son was in Afghanistan and that I would have him make contact with them whenever he arrives home. The telemarketer then rudely stated that this is important and "you're nobody", because I refused to fax her my Power of Attorney for my son. I merely stated that I would rather have him talk to them directly when he was back in the states.  It's really sad that these companies don't invest more into the employees tht represent them. By the way, this "nobody" is a practicing attorney that takes pride in professionalism. I hope that you don't have a run in with these guys.

Received a call from them on my company cell phone. They were looking for David Serrato, Jr. who had the phone before me (3 1/2 years ago). I've had numerous calls looking for him from several collection agencies.

This company is a legitimate collection agency. I called them back and asked for my number to be removed. Woman answering very politely agreed.

Most of the other agency did the same. One did not with my first call, but did immdiately after I reminded them they were in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (Federal law governing collection agency activities).

Called our business. Automated recording saying they were looking for Carlin DeFranco and if I was not Carlin I needed to call them immediately at 855-792-3111 and hang up.  Well I stayed on the line and the message went on to say they were "Round 2 Recovery" and to call them back about an urgent debt matter at - the same number?

Obviously Carlin gave them a bogus phone number, but do I call back and tell them or just ignore it? I have a feeling they will just keep harassing our business.  I would love to go face to face with Carlin.

Calling asking for someone I don't know and asking for call back if I don't know this person.   Yeah, how about you do something for me for free instead. I hate these places.
