Stop calling me ...

If you are using a cell phone, you can easily block the number. When you go to your recent calls list there should be a little info circle on the right of the #. Press that and then scroll to the bottom and it will say block caller. Hit it and they are blocked.

This number has called me 5 times in re last two days I haven't answered its getting really annoying!

fools called and  no message, because I don't answer calls I don't know.  I called them back after I goggled the number and all static.

I had this number call me at least 6 times a day an when I answered I got a beep like call waiting.  I finally called the number tonight an got an automated guys voice saying he was from CAREERADVISOR.COM about my recent subscription. If I wanted to delete my service an be put on the no call list to press 1 so I did I also blocked the number from my phone just in case

Your final solution was the correct one. When someone calls you, and WILL NOT identify themselves, or why they are calling you - hang up. Don't argue, don't scream, don't ask to be put on a do-not-call list, because they're calling you illegally to begin with. So what list are you going to get on?

I answered the phone call, sales representative immediately advised me that the phone call was being recorded for quality assurance.....I asked what company was this that I am talking to and that I am not authorizing a voice recorded phone call, guy says "hey you applied for a job on CareerBuilder.com and I am trying to help you get a job", I asked what he was actually selling? Then I hung up. Now have had 6 phone calls since yesterday. 855-796-2989

They call me late in the evening or around dinner time. I picked up the phone one, and nobody speaks. They just hang up, after I say "Hello"! Most likely, it is some scam.

some girl called from job seeker and i gave my personal information. her nane was veronica and she asked me my date of birth and adress place of work and experiance. Now i am worried what should i do.

I called the # back, it's the "Career advisor network". It appears if you went on certain job sites, and left your #, you get an automated call.

Started asking a lot of personal info and ask them to identify themselves the quickly hung up! The call was at 9:00 PM.

This is why I use a Google Voice Mail for anything on the www.  Can't be bothered.  They don't know how to leave a voice mail.

If it was really about a job, or someone I do business with they would have my direct numbers.

Thats what happens to ALL of us when we put our phone # on the www.

Dead when answered. I read once a few years ago some companies call your number to see if its valid.  If they hear someone answer they will record it as a valid phone number.  This process is usually used to verify phone numbers for credit checks or credit card companies.  It can also be used by identity thieves and scammers to build enough personal info on you to eventually get your identity stolen.

Don't give them one once of info! Called 6 times, there is an "advisor" that will talk to you. Far too unprofessional to be a
real company. These people need to be investigated.

No message, no comments just day and night calls.  I will also block this caller.  Day, nights, weekends...this is getting old.

This number called and it was a either a Arab,Mexican or someone who can't speak English or understand English,to stop calling,Called from this number 855-796-2989. Just Stop it and get a life. Go back to your country and stay there.
