I received a call last week from American law firm from the same number. Told me I was being served to go to court for bas checks written to pay a payday loan. I cld the atty gen's office who told me to close my acct and not pay them a dime. The atty gen's office told me that you cannot be taken to court for a pyday loan. can't b sued or police will not come to pick you up...was supposed to end me paperwork which i have not gotten yet.

I received a call and they left me a message stating that i was being srved a summons for hot checks . this is a payday loan company what can i do and it is ok for them to harrass me like this at work and on my personal phone.

Received a call today regarding charges that were pending against me...asked if I had heard of them before...I stated no, he said that he would transfer me to their legal department.  They gave me a case # of 137800.  Is this a legit call?
