It's Comcast, customer retention.  Once you cancel, they call you.  If you talk to them when they call, you can ask what is the lowest rate for internet only that they are willing to offer you or whatever services you're interested in... Not too bad as I got $34.99 for 6 months for 20 Mbps Internet.

Did anyone actually do that?  Or just complain about getting calls?

I also just cancelled Comcast last week.  I started getting calls from this number on March 2nd and I get one every single day....UGH!  When I called to cancel my service, I also told them that it was entirely too expensive.  I called several times and when I pressed the number to indicate cancellation of service, I kept getting a message stating that they were unable to take my call due to "circumstances beyond their control", and then the call was abruptly disconnected.  I actually had to press the number to speak with a "tech", who beat around the bush until I firmly told him I wanted to cancel my service.  Then, he put me on hold for 10 minutes before I actually got to speak with someone who could cancel my service....then of course, I had to go through the whole sales pitch of things he could "change" to reduce my bill.  I simply told him that nothing he could do would cut my bill significantly enough to make me want to continue my service.  Since then, I have been getting all these annoying calls...it feels like harassment.

I agree! I canceled my service last week and every day since I have gotten a call from this number. I won't answer for all the same reasons everyone else has said. But it's definitely got to be Comcast. Trying to get me back?! Forget them! I told them I can't afford their crappy services anymore and I'm done. No wonder why they won't leave me alone. They want me back after I said 10 years of overpaying was too damn much. Is there a way we can report them for misuse of my information?

I just cancelled my comcast as well and as soon as I cancelled it, I just started recieving the calls from this number. I also won't answer unknown calls so the no message was very annoying! Thank you, at least now I know I am not the only one!

I also canceled comcast, what you get for the money is junk. That number keeps calling.

And "hatecomcast"..you are 100% right. I can't believe how many times they jerked me around before I was finally "allowed" to cancel my service. I would seriously rather walk to Starbucks everyday for their WiFi than sign up with Comcast again...

I have received calls from this # and others from area code 855 all are from TLK group, I have chose to be put one do not call by pressing 2 when prompted but they just call from a different # . I called back 2 min after they called me and tried to speak to a representative and got a message they are closed..... comcast harassing people even after you cancel their service......

Same as everyone else, for the past three days.

I also make a habit of not answering a phone from unknown/identified numbers, especially of the 800 variety.  Have not received any messages.

Have the same issue. Usually get a call the same time every day. No message....annoying!

Same for me they have now called for the past 5 days. They leave no message and I refuse to answer unless they leave a message. No ID or anything. Have tried looking this number up but no one seems to give any info unless I pay for some stupid service. If anyone knows what this number is all about it would be really nice to know.
