BS bottom feeder collectors.   They have bought old debt that has been resold about 90 times over and have no legal claim to do jack crap. At this point they cannot even put it in on your credit because i promise you they cannot actually provide the actual original debt documents.  So feel free to block their number and tell them to F off.  :P

Got a call and retuned call. They had previous married name, not my last 4 digits is Social Security, wrong birthdate but right month. Man threaten me and said I would deal with what comes next if I did not give correct information. Said attorneys were Cross Assoiates out of GA. I told him bring it on and hung up. Going to report. SCAM.

Be careful they also call from 855-495-4101 and he says his names Julio Ortiz.  I think is fraud and a huge scam because everytime they call it is from and UNKNOWN or BLOCKED caller.  They always beat around the bush and I tell them without proper information sent to me by email I am not giving them anything and they say we do not send it until it is paid in full.  THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO SCARE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!  and if it is real they send a summons out if you have to appear in court.  they are liars and cheats.  be careful

I got a call from them, yesterday asking about someone by the name of Aneva Taylor. I didn't answer the call, I let it go to voice mail. So as a courtesy, I called back from a different number (that was blocked) to tell them they were calling the wrong number. I gave them the case number and told them to recheck their records because this woman didn't own this number any longer. They told me what number I was calling from! Apparently, when you block your number it's still not safe -- They have some software or phone system that can get around that number!
They said they couldn't access the phone number they used and I had to give them the number that I received the call from to remove it. I refused not knowing who they were and what was there goal. Their response was, "Expect more phone calls from us". I blocked their number so I could care less. Don't call them back! They will capture your number! Just block them and report to your local Attorney General for harassment.

I just got a message left on my vm that said that they where NNA and that there are documents that need to be signed and to call 855-818-7983. I called and was given to case worker that told me there was a summons for fraud to a banking insitution for 655.00... I said I did not write a check for that amoount and dont know what he is talking about. He said this was being recorded and did i understand i said no and hung up....... What the hell is this all about and what can i do to stop this harassment from continuing!!!! It stresses me out and if this is fraud I want to make them stop.

The 1st phone call from this number was last Friday from a man calling himself 'Russell Johnson' looking for my son. I told him he didn't live here. He stated he would be here within the hour to serve a summons on him! I asked what Co. he worked for,,,he said; NNA and gave me a case number! Today, March 4th, I get a second call from 'Russell Johnson', except from a different # 716-402-1135, and he was just a TOTAL JERK! Letting me know I was wasting his 'valuable time' by asking questions and that he would just put that I refused to cooperate and he would just turn the Warrant into the local Sheriffs Office for my son's arrest and hung up on me!!! Should this be turned into my Local Authority's??? I called that 855-818-7983 and gave the case number and the woman there said it was a 'pending fraud case'!!! I sincerely hope something is done to these 'Losers'!!!!!

michelle brown called said she was from the allen county legal support servicing divison regarging some documentation that needs to be sign they would be by my house or my place of employment to sign how do they get peoples phone numbers wise they leave me alone.

This call came through as a restricted number and a voice message was left.  I received the first one yesterday and then the second one today.  The message stayed the same..She said "I am Michelle Brown from the Frederick County Legal Support Servicing Divison calling in regard to documentation that requires your signature to solidify a court appearance. A process server tried to locate you at your residence and they were unable to get in contact with you.  They will be making a final attempt today at your place of employment in the next few hours. If they do not receive your signature today the documents will be forwarded back to the filing firm as a direct refusal to sign and further actions will be taken against you. If you do not think that you will be available or need to reschedule you can contact the firm directly at 855-818-7983...and provide them this case number...... Oh and by the way....Good luck!"  Now I work at home so I can honestly say that they did not stop by.  They are very rude when you call and try to get you to give them money on a bill that they cannot provide any details on.  There is NO  Frederick County Legal Support Servicing Divison. BOGUS threatening people.

I received a message from someone named Michele Brown in regards to a case# in Delaware County, letting me know I am going to be served papers and I have been notified, she left phone number
1 855-818-7983 to call for information and before she hung up she wished me luck. I don't know if this is a legitimate company or not, I do know I have some past due bills from when I was laid off in 2009, back and fourth for a couple of years, worked here and there until I was able to get a permanent position. I will be filing bankruptcy, no one would work with me, I didn't have enough money to pay the min balance that was due on accounts. God knows and she needs to stop calling individuals and get a real position to help them. The call didn't scare me, I listened, called the toll free number, no one was available, I was asked to leave a message,well you know what  did, I hung up, Their nuimber will be blocked any any other numbers if they call again, I have the victory, don't fear what men can do to you, The battle is not yours, if you are a servant of God, saved, and have the spirit of God, don't worry, God will fight your battles, be obedient unto the Lord and he will make a way out of no way. We all have made and still make some mistakes, the beauty of it,is when you are honest with yourself and the Lord, he will not not only give you joy unspeakable and full of Glory, he will make a way where that bill will have a zero balance or they can't find nothing with your name or getting an attorney to file bankruptcy which is put in place in case a situatoin that calls for it, following the laws of the land, so since it's in place if we need to do that, then don't feel condemed, we all have to learn from our mistakes so we won't go back down that road again, and we can learn from it, share it with others. The Lord allowed some one to study the law to help, he gave attorneys the knowledge that they hold in order to help others. It's a beautiful thing when you learn from past experiences, you grow, learn study and strive to do better as each day passes by through the grace of God, which gives peace that passeth all understanding. The number.  threatens to come to my hom or place of wor to serve me legal paper.  in Massach court paper I onl I only served by police if police if criminal or de deputy sheriff or constable if civil there is no such thing  A process server.  never calls you this is  this is a scam.  come so I ca sick the do sick the dogs on you.

I got the same message. It is a scam. I am on some list. I get these messages once about every three to four months. Just ignore them. If you have to appear in court you will get a summons, not a phone call. Puhleeez.

Any legitimate company trying to collect will provide legitimate information and not hide their phone number under "private" or make clearly illegal threats against you.

I always seem to miss the call. If I get it next time I'll let them know they can speak to my .22 caliber pistol if they want to trespass on my property.

this is the second call i get from a Michelle Brown from a blocked number leaving a voice mail saying it was regarding some legal docs and to call 855-818-7983.... and that a process server would be at my house or place of employment in a couple of hours... had my boss, who happens to be an attorney call her back.. she was quick to hang up on her and now wont answer the calls!

Update... I called this number (855-818-7983) back and they stated that they are looking for someone "WHO DOESN'T FREAKING WORK HERE" and he said "Ok, so this number has been taken out of the system"...

Stating "this is such and such from Niagra Arbitration Services, you case is currently ready to be discussed, call 1-855-818-7983 with a case number assigned" I don't know what the hell this is, but I know it's a scam. For some idiot to call a freaking government number is gonna get in lots of trouble. BTW the number came from 716-402-1405 (Niagra Falls NY)

I received a call from 870-563-6545. The person left a voicemail after calling twice. His name was Ryan Mueller. He stated a case number for a court appearance. He also stated that "they" were dispatching someone to my work or home location and to have two forms of state issued ID available at all times. He said to call the firm that has the complaint against me at 855-818-7985. Then, he said, "Good luck, ma'am." My friend had a similar call last year and he found it to be a scam, but it scares you!

Joe,   if he shows (which he won't)  you tell him to get his a** off your property or you'll call the police.  That will send him running.

It is a FRAUD.  You are correct,  it is a fraud.  The scamming game has been so profitable,  all of the termites are crawling out of the cracks to get in on it.  One would think that with these now going on everywhere and everyones phones are ringing off the  hooks, all of  people would be wised up. I don't see why the newspapers,  TV stations (local and national)  doesn't jump on this thing and spread the word constantly,  because that would run the scammers out of business.  KNOWLEDGE IS POWER AGAINST THESE TOADS.  If it wasn't for this 1-800 board and the people who participate on it,  a lot more would get the shirts taken off their backs.

I received a call today from a private number telling me to call this number to discuss my potentially being served with a summons.  I called the number back and its sounds pretty official, however, when I contacted the company they said they represented I was told it was probably a scam.
