They faxed my CPA asking for a Power of Attorney for a Corporation I no longer own. I have no idea how they found the name of my CPA or the Fax number of my CPA. Ignore anything you get from this company. I cannot find out who owns this number.

When you call in, the message says it is ADR Arbitration.  Seems a little fishy.

This URG a debt collector or so they say. They tell you, you owe money for loans you've taken out through short term lenders like Cash Advance or Quick Cash... so on and so forth. Then con you into providing them with your credit card info then they wipe out your checking account. I filed a law suit against them back in April of this year. My atty and I are suing the pants off these thieves. They got me for $2600.00. ***DO NOT PROVIDE THEM WITH ANY CARD INFO***

These scam artists got their hands on my name/tel number AND the phone numbers for several of my relatives.  The premise is that I owe money/am getting sued. It's totally false. They are scam artists.  They've been harassing me and family for about a year now.  No matter what they say, "Verizon" or whatever they are just making it up.  Hang up. Report them to your state's Attorney General, the Federal Trade Commission and local law enforcement.

This company has called my work, my phone and does so throughout the day. I finally called them back and some guy named Danny Anderson 615-207-2973 one of 5 in Nashville, refused to identify who he works for and why all the calls to my number even denying calling my number although I have the numbers and messages recorded. The  1-855-820-6086 people call then deny they are calling from that number. One lady said they were in Texas. The number origin is in Idaho. The next time I called they wanted some case number then refused to give me any further information. They were rude, uneducated, unprofessional and I want them to stop harassing me and my family and my workplace.

They are trying to collect on an old Dish network account that was paid in full.

The call came on my cell phone - caller ID showed a Detroit, MI number 313-208-7088 but they left a message stating it was Stellar Communications and to call the 855 number.  They had the correct name but I have no debts.  Apparently, the auto-message on my voicemail is one of those that states "by listening to this message you confirm that you are _____ "

There was no other info given and I get a fast busy signal when calling back - so I'm not attempting any more contact - the number is blocked

This person calls 20 times a week! The few times I have answered they hang up. They do not leave a message. I read that the number belongs to Southwest Credit. I don't think I've ever been late for any payments and have an excellent credit score. Why am I being harassed like this all of a sudden? MAKE IT STOP, they are driving me crazy!

Southwest Credit Collections or something along that line.  Also collects for AT&T.   I started U-Verse internet service in January and asked specifically if I could take the service when I moved and was told yes.  It took more than sixty days to receive an initial bill and with "installation costs" it was over $350 for only 1 month of service, which it turns out I could not move with me after all.  I had disputed some of the bill and this company apparently just took over the account.

GOT ANOTHER CALL FOR THE NUMBER ABOVE, THIS HAPPENS AT LEAST 4 X PER DAY. I HAVE CALLER ID AND NEVER ANSWER WHEN THAT NUMBER COMES UP/THIS IS A FORM OF HARRASSMENT  WHAT CAN BE DONE ABLE IT  I AM ON THE NO CALL LIST, I GUESS THAT IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE BEING ON THE NO CALL LIST,.HOW DOES THE LINK HELP PEOPLE LIKE US ?

No message left. Possibly bill collector for Comcast Cable TV.

Really wish they would stop calling!!

It is third party collections. Mine was for comcast. They could be calling for multiple other companies.

Received several calls from this 8558205192. Recorded message asks for a person by name, press 1 if it is or press 2 if it isn't.
They continue to call.
Go to www.donotcall.gov/ and file a complaint. By law they are not supposed to call with a recorded message or continue to call if notified they are calling wrong number.
Please report them.

It's Southwest Credit Systems.  Since I called them out on thinking they were untrustworthy and maybe thieves, they have chilled out some. They are actually legitimate though. They are collecting for Comcast for me. I do owe the money, but cannot pay untill my student loan comes in and told them so. They said ok, and made a note, but still have to call once in awhile apparently. They aren't really threatening anymore since i told them i'm happy to pay them when my student loan comes in.

I daily get calls from this agency and I have asked themn to put me on their do not call list, I don't know the person they keep asking for and really don't care. This is harrassment.

how to stop those call... they non-stop calling everyday... where they get our information? i don't have any debt need to pay... don't wanna call back if it's gonna charge the phone call...

I will be calling WBZcallforaction. I find these calls not only annoying but this is now harrasment.

I just got a call from 855 820 5192. I picked up and they told me hold so I hung up. I am really sick of this. They need to be caught.

Legit collectors per section 809 of the FDCPA http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre27.pdf *must* tell you at initial contact, or send you paperwork within 5 days of initial contact, the following:
1. $amount of debt,
2. name of the current creditor (which may differ from the original creditor who might have sold your debt),
3. a statement that that debt will be assumed to be valid unless you dispute in writing within 30 days,
4. a statement that that if you do dispute in writing within 30 days, the collector must mail you written verification of the debt,
5. a statement that if you ask the collector in writing within 30 days, the collector must send you the name and address of the original creditor if it's different from the current creditor.
If you don't get the 5 disclosures, orally or in writing (you do not have to ask for them, the FDCPA requires collectors to provide them), treat the collector like you would any SCAMMER.

Thank you for the info.  I have a collection agency calling me.  I fully intend to pay my medical bill some time.  There was nothing sent to me in the mail having anything to do with the bill except what the hospital sent me.
