Just received a call from this number. I did not pick up. No message was left. The caller ID: Toll Free Caller.

So that the list can BE SOLD to make a profit! & That's EXZACTLY what they did.
The DO NOT CALL LIST is a JOKE!

People, if you don't have caller ID, pay for it.  Then the best thing you can do to these callers is to take away the answering machine, and just let the phone ring!  Do not answer these calls or have your answering machine on.  They can't do their scamming if they can't reach anyone!

I'm really starting to think the Do Not Call List is a joke. It's probably for giving out our numbers so we can be spammed. This number keeps calling me several times a week for months. I never answer it. They never leave a message. I just called the number back and got this recording: "This office is currently closed. Please call again later." Yeah, right.

This number belongs to a fraudulent company called Certified Financial. Website is below. They ask people to wire them money through Western Union.

This company sent me an email saying that i was approved for a 5000 loan.  Because my credit is not the best they said I needed to prepay 5 months.  totaling 783.  The loan agent I spoke with Alfred Newman said he would send me the info so I could wire transfer the money......um no thank you

solicitation caller for higher education

We have gotten calls from this number. I don't know if it's this number in particular or another number, but we have gotten several calls asking if we wanted to continue our education. I tell them I'm not interested, do not call back, and hang up. Don't know if this does much good or not.

yeah they're calling my google voice # over and over and over. one time there were a ton of kids in the background.

Google voice has a block feature, and based on everyone else's comments that's what I'm doing

I believe they got my number from an online survey that I filled out - it was to win two Jet Blue tickets and I got almost through the survey and on the last phase they wanted me to pick two sites where I would have to pay for something so I ended the survey. Unfortunately they already had the phone and address and email info. Now I am getting these calls from this number about going back to school. They are on a mission to sign me up.

It must be an auto dialer b/c these BOTHERSOME ppl called me SEVEN times in 2 minutes!!!!!!!! 7!! I have never seen that. I refused to pick up b/c they NEVER left a message....ever. So I put them on my phone's REJECT list. Hopefully that will make them NOT call anymore b/c I do NOT want to have to call them back....

For android, Mr Blocker allowed me to add it into a block numbers list, therefore they are sent directly to voicemail. Seems to be related to go back to school, who know where are they getting the info.

Just got a call from this #. Annoying that they get ahold of your # and call incessantly!

This number began calling me a couple of days ago and are calling almost every hour.  At first I screened the call, however they left no messages.  So the next time they called I answered.  Every  time I answered they would hang up.  When I called the number back it was a recording about offering educational materials on schools or something of that sort.  They had an option to be taken off of their calling list.  I used this option, entered my telephone number and the recording confirmed that I would not longer receive calls however I am still receiving the calls.  Today when I answered I actually got to speak to someone.  They asked for my mother (which is odd because she doesn't live with me and I haven't lived at home for years and she has her own phone).  I told them they had a wrong number and the woman hung up on me before I could say anything else.

this is another # for the "education authority" telemarketing scam - join the "do not call" list - it won't stop them but at least you can file a complaint after you inform them not to call anymore.

They have called me several times. I requested not to be called again and they still called. I called them back today and asked to be put on the do not call list. He asked for my number and any other numbers that I would like on the list (I just said "any number you have associated with this one") and he said that they would be put on the Do Not Call list within 48 hours. Easy and courteous.

I started to get call on Monday morning I was in class so I could not answer, but after the fourth call in the same hour I walked outside to see what these people wanted and whoever it was hung up. So because I was sick of my phone going off I called it back and tried to have my number taken off the call list, it would not let me. So I finished school looked at my phone I had an additional 3 calls. This time when I called the number it says that the number is not in service....what is this weird number, they are kinda freakin me out!!!!!!!!!!!

Ever since I went to a site to compare car insurance rates, I have been getting calls from this as well as one other number, which is very obviously a fake telephone number.  At first, the phone rang until it was transferred to my telephone secretary, but even then, they never left a message.  Finally, they stopped just after the fourth ring, but before the telephone secretary switched over.

I have never answered the calls, as I recognize this as not a legitimate business, so checked it out online, and came to this site when I entered the number.
