You almost certainly DO have a new probelm by letting him access your PC.  He downloaded malware.

Do you access your bank account or credit card account by computer?  If so, the guy from Speedy PC Pro has your account numbers and access codes.  Call your bank and have the account numbers and codes changed.

The guy may have stolen your identity.  Do like this article says.

He may have made your computer work for him when you aren't using it.  Take it to a computer tech and tell them what happened.  They can remove whatever he installed.

The program itself was running supposedly cleaning up my registry, etc. It's been running for about 40 minutes. I'll check it soon to see if it does clean up the problem as listed under Application tab when I ran eventvwr.

Yes, the man and his "manager" also asked for access to my computer to "install" the Speedy PC software I just purchased. Then they tried to sell me online technical support and maintenance for $270 down to one time support for $79! When I said I wanted to think about it first, he became very insistent. I ended the call. Now I need to check if they hacked my computer to obtain important information!

The email message you receive when buying Speedy PC Pro tells you to call this number to activate your new product immediately.  When I called this number the tech did activate my product but had to access my computer to do it.  He also did a computer check up and said I had all kinds of problems and needed to purchase their PC protection for $199.00.  I told him no but still had a very hard time getting him to logoff my computer.  Now I am very worried this company is a scam.  I would never let these people have access to my PC again and hipe I do not have a new problem caused by letting him access my PC.

I was searching for an update for my dvd, for I was trying to watch a movie in my computer, and it told that it cannot not watch the movie because there was a problem with the video card, and I need to updated. So I search in the internet for video card update, and the SpeedyPC came up, since it mentioned microsoft I thought it was OK. But what called my attention wast "FREE". ...... (not) anyways downloaded then came up the charge part. Since it was only $29 something, I bought it. Then came the part about activation. I called the phone #, the technician asked what I needed. So I told him that I want to activate the software. It was activated, he started to diagnose my PC, according to him there were a lots of problems. I asked him how much will I have to pay to fix it, he show the charges. I said no way I cannot afford that. Try to sell me something cheaper. I said the same thing. And I told him that someone at work will do it for me for free. He kept diagnosing, I keep telling him I don't want the service, so stop. He stop. It is scary for they go into your computer, you can see it in your screen. I hope I have not problem because of this.

Purchased Speedy PC Pro for $39.94 - paid by credit card - next screen from website said "To quickly activate your software, call us toll-free at the number above (855)838-9715.  Our technicians will securely - remotely activate your softwarefor you.  At your request, we will also diagnose your PC for other hard-troubles.
When was the last time, you needed someone to remotely activate your software? Also, the number raised a flag as an international charge.
