I am having this exact problem and it is really getting on my nerves. I now sent all the numbers to my Comcast phone carrier and told them I want to know who these are from or I am changing my service back to my old phone carrier as I never ever had this problem. No one ever is on the other end.

I got this call at home and it comes up 800 service on caller ID. There is a list of them that I keep blocking from my phone but they keep coming up with more numbers. I try to call the number back
but it says due to phone company problems the call can not go through. This is harassment there
is at least one call per day and if you answer the call they hang up on you. If i find out who is calling
there might be a big problem in there future ME!!!!

Getting a call about once per day. I live outside of Philly, PA so apparently they must be working their way across the East Coast. I refuse to answer since my Comcast has Caller ID.

I am also in PA and have received hang-up calls from this number numerous times, most recently today. If it is Verizon, they're wasting their time. We don't get Verizon service in this area either.

They called me yesterday, and offered a bundled Verizon deal with, wait for it, a NEVER increasing bill. $120.00 per year FOREVER. For phone, internet and tv...Not sure what the scam is...

They called back today...and I actually spoke to a human at the other end!
It was Verizon trying to sell me FIOS service which...wait for it...is NOT actually available at my address.
They denied knowing anything about the previous day's hang up calls.
