Ricky Casey represented me in a law suit that I filed against a large furniture company.  I was standing in the door of the Hanky Panky Adult Theatre and book Emporium when a Furniture truck came from the street, jumped the curb,   killed a dog,  and ran into the door of the Hanky Panky, and injured me.  The driver was Totally Drunk.  Ricky lost my case when the defending attorney stated that his client,  the driver,  was innocent because he was too drunk to know what he was doing and therefore could not be held liable.  Ricky was at a loss for words of rebuttal  and the judge awarded a judgement to the driver stating that I was responsible for my own injuries since I was standing in the door and failed to get out of the way.   Ricky is a good lawyer folks so I pity the scammer who fools with him..

Dee what you need to do is,  Tell your caller that.   There is nothing anyone here can do since we don't make the calls.  It is just an information discussion board.   You'd be as well served by opening the back door and yelling it...

And they should be reported to the FCC......The Do not Call is for the purpose of limiting the number of Telemarketing calls (Sales of goods or services)  to people who don't want to receive them.  It does this by collecting a list of names and numbers (hence..."the List")  and these are required to be purchase by legitimate telemarketing companies who are Registered with the FTC who wish to sell their products or services via the telephone.   This list will not block scammers,  scofflaws,  and those who choose not to honor it.   It was never intended as a law enforcement tool.   Just a list to provide some means for those who do not want sales calls to let the Businesses know so that their request can be honored.  That was "the Lists"  only intent and purpose.

Because the DNc list is not a blocking device.  It is just a List!  Nobody's incoming calls are monitored for unwelcomed calls and no one has immunity to any caller regardless of whether it is legit or a scam.
There are over 500 million phones in the US.  There are over 1 billion,  500 million calls made in the US each day.
How would anyone or anything monitor all of the telephones and telephone calls,  searching for that 1 caller that someone doesn't want.   The DNC is just a LIST!.

Steve,  the DNC is just a list.  Not a call blocker. It is only a list that is purchased by honest telemarketing companies so that they will know who not to call.  No one monitors or blocks any calls.

I keep getting same calls, I don't answer any 800+ numbers anymore. They can leave a mess, if its important, thank god for caller ID.

I got a call from this number as well, but did not answer it.  I just bought a pay-as-you-go SIM, so no one knows me at this number.

Have received unwanted calls from this number 855-848-4653.  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST both State and National.  Why do they continue to be allowed access to numbers and allowed to make these calls to citizens?

This is an Investment company of Gold and Silver.  I called the number and spoke to a gentlement who was very nice.  I asked him to take me off of their call list.  He was very polite and apologized for the call and said he would take my number off their call list.  I thanked him.
