This is how Comcast deals with anyone who is late in paying their bill. Whoever is getting these calls is a Comcast subscriber and if you check your records you will see that you are most likely a month behind on your bill.  Why do they call and not speak? I dunno.  But if you got the call, it came from Comcast and you are late paying them their precious money. I wonder if AT&T deals with a late pay the same way?

I called this number back and an automated response said it was a Comcast promotional offer.  Select option 2 and they say they will remove you from further calls

No one would speak when I answered. I stayed on the line to listen for any background noise but there was nothing. 1-1/2 minutes later I hung up since no one would say anything....More annoying than anything as Intellius' reverse call lookup doesn't even recognize this as a legitimate number as a landline or cell phone listing.

Just got a call from this number. I didn't pick up and googled but couldn't find anything associated with the number
