If you believe any text like that (I received it too) then I have some beach front property in Prudhoe Bay Alaska that I will sell you for cheap.

I just got the same message.... 75935 Q1 is giving away a $100 cash rewards card for 5 minutes of your time! Answer a short survey by calling 855-853-0339 and it's all yours! Reply stop to opt out.
I'm sure as hell not calling a random number that when Googled, has no affiliation with anything. Sounds sketchy. Not txting back, I don't want to perpetuate it. Would replying "Stop" actually do anything or just confirm they have a real number? No good can come of this, I'm sure.

exact same message as listed above. My guess is that they have a random number generator or list dial server to autodial/text away...
Replying to them would only let them know they have a valid number...

Yup, just got the message, too. Man I hate these stupid spam texts! Anyone out there have any idea how to get off their list/block them (without texting back)??

Got text message from 75935 (not a typo - that's what the return number shows up as) "Q1 is giving away a $100 cash rewards card for 5 minutes of your time! Answer a short survery by calling 855-853-0339 and it's all yours! Reply to stop to opt out."
Must be a scam. Number reported to FCC. I didn't text or call back because then the b**tards know that its a working number. I call these scammers back from a disposable phone and swear at them until they hang up.

Got the same text as everyone else. I don't trust any of these unsolicited texts. Always fraud. I am on the do not call or texts lists. I never reply "Stop" either because I shouldn't have to and besides I think they would text even more or come up with a way to charge you for texting to them. They eventually stop without me sending it. Thank goodness I have unlimited texting or I would really be ticked by receiving them.

Does texting back "STOP" really stop them?
Straight Money 2010-12-09 16:47:13 Unknown
Please don't call this number back and give them information. I did and resulted in identity theft. Once again, if it sounds too good to be true then its probably not. These b*****ds deserves to be beaten with stones.

Entire message: 75935 Q1 is giving away a $100 cash rewards card for 5 minutes of your time! Answer a short survey by calling 855-853-0339 and it's all yours! Reply stop to opt out.
The problem is that we pay per text. If I have to text back, it costs me another 20 cents. I am now getting junk texts all the time and I am on the do not call list. I report each one to the FCC.
Just-in 2010-12-08 20:19:02 Unknown
But are you on the do not text list?
Elizabeth 2010-12-08 17:33:35 Unknown
Would love to know how it turned out but really if they can give you $100 they can give you the $2.95 for the shipping and handling.
amanda 2010-12-07 21:54:56 Unknown
the first guy I talked to said they cahrge $2.95 to mail out the $100 card. the charge shows up under Trifecta Marketing, and the verification department that they transfer you to tries to sell you some other subscription crap. going to call back and see what's really up.

I'm sure it's a scam. I would like to know how they got my number. I'm on the do not call list.

request from a text message to be called. Number is not listed and may be fraud number to allow them to bill a cell phone.
