I called  Office Depot for their tech. Support number, called the number 855-857-1687 was given to me. Do not call this number !! They will sale you a contract for 1,2,or 3 Yrs. They assured me I would keep having the problem I was having with my computer. Somehow they got into my Computerworld and fixed it, but less than 32 months, I am having bigger problems and of course they never answer the phone. The contract I was sold was for 1 yr. tech support. What a scam!

I somehow reached these people when trying to get in touch with Mozilla Firefox Technical Support. I spoke with a man from India, he said the company was called Albion Global. He said they worked for Firefox & he needed to scan my computer to find & fix the problem but I first had to pay for a warranty. So I stupidly purchased a 3 year warranty for my laptop & printer for $500. I gave him complete access to my computer, not thinking about him having access to all my personal information. He told me it had a Trojan virus and supposedly fixed it. He gave me this phone number: 855-857-1687 to call anytime I was having trouble with my computer or printer & they would fix it. This was 2 1/2 months ago and I've still been feeling uncomfortable about it so I decided to do a little research and came across this conversation page. I wonder if it's too late to dispute that charge on my credit card since this surely sounds like fraud. Perhaps I can call that number and ask for a reimbursement. I don't know what to do. I found a Mozilla Firefox website yesterday and called that phone number but again I got an independent contractor. This one was called OmniTech Support. Why can't I talk to someone at Firefox? It's irritating!

This is a company, as I've found out after much research, that once you answer they connect you to a "SPEAR-PHISHING"
outfit in India.  This allows them to drop mal ware links in your PC to disable it and get access to you information...beware!!!!

Company is Albion Global or other derivative.  Make it sound like they have file from Microsoft (from all those annoying updates) showing you have a specific problem.  When questioned further, they said they got my info of the problem off the "server"...not Microsoft...not Dell...not my cable/internet provider.  At this point I knew it was a scam and disconnected.
