Political action committees are exempt from the do not call lists. So, Yes the law does not apply to them. Not that I agree with that  but that is the way it is!

Didn't answer call.  Did call the number back and first option was to press "1" to be removed from list.  Could take from a "couple days" up to 30 days (allowed by law) to remove number from call list.  At least removal was first option without having to go through entire pitch or menu.

855-860-9315 and I think it is credit card services...lower credit card interest rate...but who
knows, it could be something else...I don't answer the calls,  I let the answering machine pick
up and, of course, they hang up.

I also got the call, but I didn't mind the call, Why, because I bought a Digitone Call Blocker.  www.digitone.com The first time they call, it rings my phone and the call comes through. I then block the number and the next time they call, my phone doesn't even ring and the blocker hangs up on them. You can even block entire area codes. I have it setup to block any incoming calls with the 855 area code. The blocker keeps track of all calls, good and bad ones. Then I like to check to see who got hung up on just for fun like I am now.

received unwanted call from 860 855 9315.  no person, no voice.  this happens too frequently to be accidental I am on do not call list.

I received a phone call from 855-860-9315.  I usually do not answer the phone.  I am so tired of getting these phone calls every day, two or more times a day.  I answered the phone today and there was no one on the other end.  I called the phone number back, it was the American Legacy Pac ran by Newt Gingrich.  The robo call said if you want your phone number removed from their list to enter it.  It will take 30 days to be removed.  We shall see.

This number just called me a few minutes ago. I didn't recognize the number and the Caller ID displayed "Toll Free Number", so I let the answering machine handle it. All I heard was the sound of a dial tone for a few seconds.
