Got a message from them today from a Jennifer asking to call back with a reference number.  They had my maiden name which I have not used in years, and my student loan is not in collections so I have no idea where they got my info from but I did not call back.

Do not call list down not apply to collections, only Telemarketing.

My son accidentally answered this and gave it to me. I said, " hello".  She said, "This is Emily and this call is recorded."  I hung up and that was that. I do not talk to anyone I do not personally know.

I received a call today from this number by a female.  She told me I was listed as a contact for Angela O'Neill.  I told her I do not know that person and she apologized and hung up.  She sounded friendly enough but I did notice she had my maiden name which makes me wonder where they got my contact information from.

Student loan collector from Pioneer Credit. Relentless. Whoever reads this, avoid taking out school loans. It is an enslavement program targeted at the youth of this country to enslave them for their entire life. They only want you to pay on the high interest rates and you never end up making a dent in the loan. As the dollar continues to lose it's value, and the nation's debt grows further into the trillions of dollars, it will make it impossible to pay down the loans over time unless you fall into some money where you can pay it all off at one time. The bible says, my people perish from a lack of knowledge. Ignorance does not count when mercy does not apply. Also, God was against usury amongst his people and no matter what your financial situation was, every seven years all debts were forgiven. This nation and the world is enslaved by people who call themselves Judahites and are not. - Rev. 2:9, 3:9... That's just one of the 12 tribes of Israel. Wake up people.

Called me and left a voice mail with a reference number claiming a girl I haven't spoken to since high school (12 years ago) used me as a reference.  Left no company name.  

I have spoken to them several times about my number was on the do not call list and they insist on calling, sometimes as much as 6 times a day - seven days a week.

Now they are also mailing... I got a "You won two tickets, please call" letter. It references US Flight Rewards, I called from a different phone that was not mine, "Jeff" answers the phone as reservations.
Letter says certain restrictions apply as indicated on americanbonuscenter.com. Not sure how they have my name and mailing information but definately gotta be a scam!!! I don't sign up for random crap!!

Blocked them using Google Voice but somehow they change the prefix and start again. Told them to use the US Mail for all further correspondence but they keep calling.

Somebody looking for student loans that I can't pay because I was never able to get a job after college.

I used to just not answer calls from numbers I didn't recognize. But after two years of not even being able to get an interview at Walmart or McDonald's with a college degree, I'm so upset that now I look forward to these calls. I ask them a bunch of questions and try to keep them on the phone as long as possible just to waste their time.

Pioneer Debt Collection calling about student loans.

Person calling is asking for Kimberly Campbell who apparantly has an overdue student loan. Message states if I am not this person hang up which I have done. We have received the same message on both of our phones for the past two days.

I do not have a home phone (cell phone only) and my upstairs neighbor gets messages from this number saying that they were calling looking for me.  I am not sure if they gave her a 'reference number' as she has never mentioned this to me.  When I called the number back the person who answered said 'Pioneer credit and recovery'.  I do not know who these people are & I know the credit companies that have given me credit or that I owe $ to, and these 'company' is not one of them.  I have NEVER given out my neighbors name or phone number!!! They have been put on a do not call list.  

After reading some of these other comments shows me that this 'company' is a scam!

called my cell number asking for my son said his name was Lester with Pioneer Credit in up state New York and wanted me to pay a debt for him.

Have been receiving up to three calls per day from a "Jeff" at this number.  Claims my daughter used
me as a reference and requested I provide information: i.e. phone number, address... I put a stop to
it immediately as my daughter was standing right next to me.  She said she had not listed me as a
reference and that it was a scam.  I relayed the information to "Jeff" and hung up.  HE'S STILL CALLING!

Oh, and when I don't answer they tell me that the call is in reference to my mom and give me a reference number to call them back with. I have not called them back.

This number has called me on and off for about 6 months. The first time they called they said that they were calling on behalf of my mom and that she had put me down as a reference and when I asked what for, they told me it was a private matter. I they wanted her contact info and I wouldn't give it to them OR any information because they wouldn't tell me what it was regarding. Sketchy.

So angry - because I did not keep the reference number that they babbled about they will not remove my number despite the fact that they had the wrong number, the wrong name, the wrong state - all of their information was WRONG.  AND, they were rude on top of that. My name sounds like two surnames and they had reversed the two. How they ever got my number is beyond my comprehension!

United Student Aid Funds or USA Funds attempting to collect a debt that is not related to me.

Does anyone know who this number belongs to?  Got a call this morning told them they had wrong number!
