TXU called and the lady had no idea why she called. Strange isn't it...This is how the flow of call went.

Me: Hello
TXU: Yes - Hi how may I help you
Me: Mam, but you called me so I should be asking the question
TXU: Oh yes - let me get your name and last 4 of your social.
After verification
TXU: So I see here that you paid yesterday.
Me: Yes, I was out of contract so I changed my Electric Provider
TXU: Great and I see here that now you balance is zero.
Me: Yea, I paid yesterday because it was due yesterday and why did you call me today.
TXU: I don't know - probably some kind of mistake. I apologize.
Me: Please take me of you phone bank list Mam.
TXU: (awkward silence)..oh sure, I can do that.
Me: Thank you (hangup)

Just got half a voice mail message from this number had to see who it was. Makes sense now, but not exactly. I just ended my service with TXU on Wednesday because I was moving. I provided them my forwarding address. They said they'd send my last bill there. No problem. But, why bug me with phone calls before I have even received your last bill TXU?

TXU. They are reviewing my bill (they screwed up and set up two accounts for my condo, which I only had active for 2 months while I had it for sale), in the meanwhile these morons are calling me 3 times a day. Doesn't matter if you explain it to them, doesn't matter that I spoke to a supervisor.

I am reading that this is TXU calling everyone who has changed from TXU to another electric company.  This is probably correct.  I did change electric companies last month.  It is very aggravating that there is silence when I answer the call. No one says anything. Then I finally hang up.

Txu - they gouged me for 700 one month.  No explanation, just worked out a payment plan.  The next month another high bill!  My bills were 247 a month for two years.  I've launched a formal investigation with PUC and Attorney General.  I WILL NOT PAY this overcharge!  Changed providers and my bill dropped 100 bucks!!

This is TXU Electric. They called me multiple times. I called them back to see what the problem was.They wanted me to give them the last four of my ssn. I refused so they asked for the last four of my drivers license.
They said they are wanting to follow up with me on my final bill with them that is due TOMORROW.
They have been calling me for days. I told them a sent the check out 14 days ago and the payment is not due until tomorrow. They said they were just making sure that I indeed cut off the power and wasn't switched by another power company with out my knowledge.

TXU energy company. They are calling repeatedly asking why did I change energy companies. They call all times of morning, afternoon, and evening.

This number is harrassing me calling several times a day.

Same thing here. TXU Electric calling about a delinquent account, however, this is a new number for me and the person associated with the electric account is noone I know. There is no way to let them know that when you answer and the calls continue endlessly.

My first call today from this no. immediately hung up when I answered; second call - automated message w/no identification whatsoever, I am prompted to verify that I am the name (1st & last) they are saying the call is for. . . . so I press 1 for yes.
Then, still w/o identification, I am prompted to enter the last four digits of my SS# or the same of my DL#.
I wonder how many ppl actually enter it.
@SHERI: TXU ? Prolly so! Switched to a company w/ a lower rate recently & they have all but harassed me since. This offer..... that offer.... .. I told them I want to see how it goes with the new provider before considering switching back & they just keep calling. A VERY IRRITATING POLICY!!!
If they are able to offer lower rates, they should have offered it when I was still giving them my money every month!

Got an automated call that asked if I was me, then wanted me to enter the last four digits of my social security number. WTF? And ALL without identifying the organization the call was from. There's no reason I should be getting a call from TXU.

These idiots called me 4 times AFTER I had already paid their final bill!!! Harrassing me over a $25 bill that was paid....sheesh...

Oh man........ am I gonna have a talk with a friend who works there!

3 calls in the last 2 days, always 1 ring (more like a half a ring) then they hang up. No Message.

I get a couple calls daily from this number.  Hangs up after the first or second ring.

it's TXU Electric... and they can't cancel your # from the call list!!!!!!!!!!!

They call me everyday and if I answer it is just a recording requesting to speak to (my first name) then they spell out my last name very, very fast.  I just push #2 to say it isn't me.  Doesn't stop them though, whoever they are.

Calls my new cell number about 30 times a week, really irritating me.
