I received a harrasing phone message at work advising I had 2 hours to respond or else. I have no outstanding debt and I have no idea who they are. They also called my mom, sister and ex in law and other relatives I don?t even talk to nor do I have their phone numbers. They answer the phone "litigation" but they are actually the McKeller Group and are not credited with the BBB. Upon researching online I found several other complaints from people encountering the same issue. It?s a total scam! I?m now in the process of putting a fraud alert to all 3 credit bureaus.

I received a call from this same number: 588-872-6998. Originally, the call was "Unknown" The girl left a message saying that a matter was forwarded to her, and to contact 'the firm'. Hahaha! Mistake right there! (Such idiots) They left a voice-mail saying to call that number. I called and they answered: "Corporate Offices". (How stupid) So, I hung up on her. THEN, yes there's more, then, I get a call from (310) 746-4876 stating that I called them and we got disconnected, and this one was calling from McKellar Group. What a bunch of annoying a***oles!

They have called my home, cell and job. They say I will be served with papers in 2 hours but they never show up. This had happen 3 times.

Ex wife called me and told me they called with a reference #. I called and they said that  there gonna take my car and take over my bank acct for an old act that was opened in 08. I told them I just lost my job, dont have a car and my bank act is over drawn. I got hung up on! Than I received an unknown call on my cell from what sounded like the guy I just spoke to telling me if I dont come up with $1500 im going to be arrested and all this other crap. I went off on him and hung up. Now my cell keeps getting unknown calls. I dont answer and they dont leave messages. Seems like BS to me. They cant take what I dont have! Im about to file bankruprtcy. Lets see if I get calls after that!

This is McKellar Group, looking to collect debts with threats and harassment. They called my cell phone number and left messages for someone that I was once acquainted with years ago but no longer have contact with.  I called them and gave them this information and they told me that they could continue to call me regardless.  I asked them to not contact me any further at that point. Today I received a call from the same company, same woman. When I told her I had called and asked them not to call again, she called me a liar repeatedly.  I have reported them for harassment according to the laws of debt collection. These people are ruthless. Beware.

Got a call from unknown name and number. They gave me this number to call regarding a complaint and possible lawsuit. Well, I have no reason to have a complaint filed against me. They gave me no company or person that filed. They said that papers would be served to me at my residence or place of work which they didn't mention the address of either. I'm sick of these fake threats! His name was Lee David

Did you anything in WRITING about a lawsuit??   If not - SCAM + attempt to extort $$ from you.

Calling repeatedly with "complaints" filed.  They threatened lawsuits and wished me good luck.

been calling for 2 days called them back and answered mckeller group... told them to take number off and if i received another call from them that i would turn them in for harassment.

Pending lawsuit. Call this number and Gave reference number. Calling my wife and in laws. I called the number and took 5 seconds after he answered to say "Kelly Group". I hung up.

They call to try to collect on a debt that they can't prove!  I asked them to send me something in writing and they will not do it!  Don't fall for their crud!
