They are a collection agency.

I recieved a call from this number but she said her name was Monica Jones & i was being investigated for fraud & if i didn't pay back a pay day loan i got back in August & she gave me the balance she said legal procedures would be taken.  The funny thing is a different so called collection agency called my in September telling me the same thing & it was the same pay day loan company but i never recieved anything from the pay day loan company....do you think this is a scam? i even tried calling the pay day loan company & they don't answer or won't return my calls.  Please let me know what y'all think of this!!!

This "IS" Wells Fargo, they are calling regarding a "Promotional Offer".  This # has been calling me for weeks, finally called # back (855-872-7585) & a recorded message comes on & states this, it will give you an Option for removing your # from their call list - Which I definately did!

I would advise you all to do the same!

If you call and request that your number be placed on the internal "list" as thie shill for this telemarketing fraud suggests, your number will be confirmed and repeatedly called in the future, as well as for other scams operated by this boiler room and their associates.

These callers are criminals claiming to be "Wells Fargo".   They are criminals hoping to get some fools to give our their account numbers.  I told the female caller where to stick it and still these slimes called back two more times today.

I have told these people to stop but they keep calling. Can I go after Wells Fargo for invasion of privacy? What is the point of a Do Not Call List if they keep calling?

They call daily during supper, but we never answer. The caller ID says "800 Service," but they never leave a message on the answering machine. We do have accounts with WF, but I wish they'd let us know why they're calling.

We get calls from this number several times a day. Very annoying. The caller id says "Unavailable". We never answer it. I'm kind of afraid to call it. I guess we'll just continue to ignore it. Wish they'd stop.

Calls several times a day. We don't answer calls from numbers undid entities & or unknown. We must be on every list out there. We get 20 such calls a day & we are on the DNC list! We complain to FCC & FTC.

Wells Fargo telemarketer. I didn't pick up and afterwards I called the number and followed the simple instructions to be removed from the call list. Annoying but at least the removal was easy.

It's telemarketing for Wells Fargo.  It sucks.  Ever since they bought out my bank, Wachovia, these telemarketers will not stop.  The lady asked "Is this Theresa?"  I replied "Yes" and the idiot said "Thank You" and SHE HUNG UP ON ME!  Anyway, I called the number back and the recording says that it is Wells Fargo and gave me the option to be removed from the call list.  Then after that it said it will take up to 5 business days for me to be completely removed from the telemarketing call list.  Anyway, call em back and get removed and good luck!

Wells Fargo with information on a special promotion.  I've pressed 1 and entered my phone number for removal; we'll see if it takes or not.  It will be processed within 5 business days, but may take up to 30 days for the number to actually be removed from the system.

I love how unprofessional that recording was too - the first part was one voice and was perfectly clear; when it asked to verify my phone number, it was a different voice and very hard to hear; after I confirmed it, the last part of the recording was a third voice altogether, and more clear than the second but not as clear as the first.  Geez...

Someone just called didn't say anything, I told them "don't worry I can find out who you are". They stopped calling. Don't be afraid to get IN THERE FACE. But don't let them know that you are SCAMMING them.

Did not answer but checking the internet, many reports indicate Wells Fargo Bank.  We have received calls from Wells Fargo before and find these calls a nuisance.

They continue to call on a daily basis for an individual that is not related to our phone number. Wells Fargo is just out for sales results. They have no regard for their customer's right to privacy. Customers are only a number, nothing more. They don't value customers, they value sales numbers!

Received a call at 7:50pm, decided to answer it. The woman asked for by name the last owner of my phone number (I receive calls for the last owners of my phone number all the time). She apologized and stated she would correct their records. She was asking for donations for the Cancer Society.  It doesn't show a name under the caller ID (Toll Free Call). Although I declined, the woman was very pleasant and thanked me for answering her call.

the best thing you can do is answer the call and say "WRONG NUMBER" and hang up the phone.

This is definitely Wells Fargo.  Call the number back and it will prompt you through directions on how to be removed from the call list for this promotion. It will take 5-7 days for your number to be removed.

I also have been getting calls from this number.  I called it back and the recorded message said it was Wells Fargo.  They must be getting alot of people calling them back because the recorded message states that you can remove your phone number by pushing 1 then entering your phone number.  It will take 5-30 days the machine said, to get my number removed from the system.

Called Wells Fargo. They dont recognize either the number I got off caller i.d. or the call back number I was given.

I got a call from this number and I called them back as they left no message.  A woman answered and said "hello" so it sounds like a scam. No business will answer with a "hello"

Another number that calls is 855-872-7589. Must be from the same place.

This is Wells Fargo.  They are calling about promotions. It's not related to your account; they are just trying to sell you something.
