I just ran this for you. The name appears to be one that belongs to a real company alright, one in Latin America that is not a debt collection agency at all, but rather a management company.  In short, scammers will often use and abuse a real company's name, sometimes even real attorney's and law firms names as well.  The game is to scare you into paying money you do not owe them.

The best thing you can do is to contact the company you really owe and find out if they sold the debt and to whom. Pay them, or who they sold it to.  Google is usually your best bet in searching for a company if they give you name. The trick here is demanding debt validation  and a legal verifiable address (again, google is your friend with street views)  Often scammers will tell you that they don't have to send you debt validation, and will either give you a phony address and/or a PO box to some obscure postal office.

This is what I dug up on this particular so called outfit:

They keep calling me for the person who had my number before me.  They have called me for almost a year now.  I goggled him and he is deceased.  Even after I told them that, they still keep calling! I even told them to google it, if they didn't believe me.  What do you they think if they harass me enough I am going to pay.  That is not going to happen.  They change the name of their so called business repeatedly.  The last one was PR associates with that number.

http://www.gtmcorporation.com/ This company calls and calls. they keep saying a different person's last name they are looking for. I said I am not that person, but they call and call, and say the only way I can get them to stop calling is give them my SS# and DOB and more of my personal info so they can see if it doesn't match their records. I said NO WAY! I will not give you my personal info! They now call many times a day, for months, and said they will not quit until i give them my ss# and personal info to prove i'm not who they are looking for. HOW DO I MAKE THEM STOP!? They call from many different FL numbers, and hang up without speaking many times when I answer.

Debt Collectors - will use intimidation tactics, threats, and pretty much everything against the law. If you don't have a debt, simply hang up. No need to deal with professional a**holes. I tired to tell them they had the wrong person and they resorted to threats. You get nowhere with me on that buddy.

This is a scam no doubt. I have been receiving calls for 3 weeks from a "Ms. Norton" who starts out very polite and professional and becomes angry and threatening when I tell her I have no knowledge of any such transaction and have never heard of American Web Loans. She now has contacted a friend trying to get in touch with me although she has called me 3 times on my job-they obviously are taking information from loan applications and trying to obtain information to get money. She gave my friend 888-506-1741 as a call back number-you can't get even get information on this number.

It's simple. If this is a legit debt collector they will have no problem sending you the information of the debt in the mail. Legit collectors will send you notices in the mail before they start calling you. Legit debt collectors don't hang up on you when you start asking questions. Legit Collectors don't tell you they are contacting the police and say they have court document #'s. Best bet is to block, change # or ignore the calls, never talk or give any info. Check your credit report for any activity that wasn't you.

First of all, this company is registered under at least 3 different names: Global Trust Management, Pipeline Debt Consulting and Debt Management LLC.  Second, the address given 13046 Racetrack Road, suit.105 , Tampa Fl. 33626 is not their location. It's a mailbox at a UPS store.  Look up the address for the UPS store on Racetrack Rd in Tampa and see what address you get.  I looked the records for Debt Management LLC, it's registered to a Kristen Spoor of [residential address removed].  Guess what, it's a residence which is a few blocks from the UPS store on Racetrack Rd. You can mail her if you want.

Any collection agency that threatens to send the police after you, is a liar.  They can file a compliant with the police if you bounced a check and don't make good on it, but not if you owe on a loan or credit account.  If they were going to come after you, they have to contract a lawyer that lives in your state to file a civil suit in your local county court.  Anything other than that is all BS. Many collection companies will say they are a laywer's office (which most aren't) and their office is out of state, they can't sue you.

A fax. or an e-mail are not legal proof of anything. Demand a full, complete and legitimate letter of validation. By mail.
If she refuses she is in violation of federal law. Look up and know your rights under the FDCPA. It's easy, just Google it.
You will also want to check on the Statute of Limitation regarding debt in your state. In some states the SOL is as little as 3 yrs. In a few it may be as much as 10 yrs.
Be Safe. Be Aware.

the address of 13046 racetrack road suite 105 tampa, fl 33626 is for a Regions Bank and the phone numbers are a VOIP from a company based in Los Angeles called EVOICE. This service allows you to set up an account and you can make up your company with a automated system answer and make it sound legit. But it all actuality the calls are ringing to a cellphone. Good Luck and DO NOT GIVE THESE JACK***ES ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION!!!!

This right here tells you the company is not real or legal. It is against the law for them to give you all that information. This is probably a scam and you should report it to the FTC.

Report this to the FTC. And the next time these people call, tell them that you have reported them to the Federal Trade Commission and you're going to report them again every single time they call and there will be a $10,000 fine for each instance if the FTC finds that they were harassing you or calling illegally.

Pretty sure the two people above work for Global Trust Management ... I wouldn't call the number they're giving.

These people have been calling frequently for weeks and just left a message for the first time. No information as to what this is regarding, sorry, but I don't recognize the number, I don't recognize the company and I'm not interested in being scammed or bullied. If it's legit I'll hear from them in the mail.

i want to follow up on my other post about Global trust Management and saw your post. I found  Consumer Credit Helpers   when I was dealing with Global. they have dealt with situations like this one on a daily basis. It sounds like typical debt collector tactics to get you to call in. seems like they have handled many debt collectors and their rouge employees before. great information!

Debt Collector
I received a call from a company calling themselves Global Management Group and they sound very similar to the Global Trust that you are referring to.  They were tying to tell me that I owed money for a Check Into Cash Loan company from 2005. They fed me some line of 3 year arbitration nonsense. I told them that if this were a 'true' debt that it would have been listed on my credit report (which it wasn't since I obtain my yearly free copy every December, I am positive of this). I also told them that I know for fact that this is not a debt that is mine. He gave me some malarky about video surveillance being available upon pay off of the debt for verification.  The guy on the phone told me several times that I owed $717.50 for the debt. I insisted that they send me paperwork, the guy claimed that he had the 'proof' in front of him and that he would email it to me within an hour...it took him 35 hours before it was sent. The supposed letter had the current date (not a copy of the letter that was supposedly previously sent), it lists an address in Ontario, toll free phone (855.599.9500) and fax (614.543.1318).  The letter that was sent also has a different amount that I was told on the phone for balance owed (as if he couldn't remember what he told me on the phone or something).  The letter also has SEVERAL words misspelled such as creditor, debt and immediate.  The number on my caller id appeared as 330.954.0054 which made me think that it was a local number and why I answered it.  I told the guy that I wouldn't pay anything to anyone over the phone because they called and said that I owed it.  I told him that he needed to go phishing somewhere else

Debt Collector
i received a phone call today from 813-444-4515. It was a young woman by the name of Lisa. She said a friend of mine had 2 felony charges against him re: a loan form 2008. She said they needed a recorded statement from him. She proceeded to tell me the case number, and went on to say he was being accused of check fraud, and impersonating a fraudulent check? WTH? She did not say who the accuser was.She said someone loaned him money, and he didn't pay it back? I tried to press her for more info, and she gave the phone to her supervisor, Tory Dickson. His phone number is 813-444-4510. He couldn't give me any more info. I called my friend, and he said Lisa called him as soon as she hung up the phone with me. He has no idea what any of this is about. Not a clue. He called his attorney, and passed the info along to her. I did some investigating with Intellus, and other than a land line number, no info was available. I did ask where Tory was calling from, and he said Tampa FL. So, upon further investigation I came upon this web-site. I am wondering if this is the same company my friend is getting calls from. I didn't ask for the company name. Totally forgot, because i was so shocked by the call. I really believe this is a scam, and so glad i happened upon the site. I am thinking this is Global Trust. Has anyone received calls from the numbers I listed?
