I got a call from Dan @ 716 number and left a message asking me to call him at a 800 number. Said that I owe money and if I dont pay then I will suffer the consequences. Lol lol

I'm curious to hear from anyone previously or after I write this post. I got the same call and called their offices back. These are debt collectors who are also affiliated with a law office. They had a payday loan that I never took out either. When I pressed them for more information they had my current address (disturbing) and said that I had a debt from 2007! how did I not hear about this until now? I asked. She replied that they knew it was me and that I had been contacted all these years, which is false. She mentioned an email address that sounded like a family member of mine... Someone who i think would be capable of stealing my identity. This is what worries me,

I'm curious, did any of you actually get taken to court? Any other consequences? Should I not be worried??

On Thursday, I received a call from a "Lisa McCoy", telephone number 716-218-1992, claiming she was an attorney and that my case was going to trail in "Wayne County".  She claimed that I had an outstanding debt with a payday loan, and if I cleared it today with her, I could save myself additional court, legal, and interest fees.  I told her that I never took out a loan, so bring it on.  She made it sound as though I had no chance of proofing fraud, (because I was born yesterday), and insisted I needed to pay her today.  I said no way, and she said, "Good Luck".

On Friday, "Brad" called me from 716-362-0667 and left a message on my answering machine stating he had papers to serve me and if he did not catch me at home today, he would try me at work.  He gave the same blah, blah about my supervisor needing to sign off as a witness.  He left the same number to call if I had any questions 855-880-3281.  I called, and it is a company called Check Systems Management.  I googled them and found a website like this with people having similar "experiences".

It seems the common thread is a payday loan.  I myself never took one out, but was a victim of fraud over 10 years ago, and several payday loans were taken out in using my information.

I don't know if payday loan companies sell information, but it is crap.  DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANYMORE INFO THEN THEY ALREADY HAVE!!!!  Do not give them credit card info, bank info, birthdate, SSN, address, etc.....  They are trying to get anything out of you that they can.

I received a call from a Peter with D1 Services stating he was going to serve me papers for a legal matter.  He then gave me the following number 855-880-3281 to contact these people to stop him from serving me and threatened to come to my job to serve me and stated I would need my supervisor there to sign off as a witness.

Weird thing, the call was showing up on my caller id as Gatti's Pizza.  I asked him why he would be calling from there?  He stated that is where he currently was.

Strange.

says i need to call back or she is going to file papers in my county at the court house. what bull!!!!

A guy called my cell phone this morning and said his name was Bradley, and he had papers to serve me,and I need to signe for them, I just hung up the phone.

Kerry Bradley called informing me I needed to have my attorney contact her. That this was a civil matter involving my county which she didn't even pronounce right. Told me that I should consider myself legally notified and good luck.

Got a call from "Linda Armstrong" who sounded like she was reading off a paper and saying they were gonna take legal action, blah blah blah.

someone just called me and told me to contact this number otherwise i would have be receiving a visit from someone tomorrow to serve papers?  at the end of the message she said "you have been notified".  like that's official?

The numbers are in Buffalo New York.

A women named Carrie Bradley, left me a voice mail from a phoney law firm called (CSMS) say''s she has a court matter in Riverside, and I or my attorney need to contact her today or els, last week it was a guy from India, and said the same thing, I  told them both where to stick there threats.

who the f*** belongs to this number and where are you located so i can beat the s*** out of you
