Same here, same company, same scam!!! Called me and after I said hello, asked me to verify my address, which I stated no, and asked who this was. They stated they had charges against me and I needed to contact UCG immediatly with the number 888-813-7902. Dan Burns was the fake name he used. I asked him what charges, he said a debt, I said what debt, he said he did not know, so I hung up on him since he didn't know. He called me straight back and said I was his last case of the day and he had plenty of time to work on me, so.....I told him cool, i got plenty of time. He insulted me asking me if I was a child and kept repeating is your daddy home. I asked him what right does he have to insult anyone, he said the freedom of speech and asked did I know anything about the constitution, this is where I got mad, I replied I sure do I'm a  VETERAN!!!!!! He than went as low as to start calling me a coward and how he wished he could find me. I started asking for his companies info and for him to verify his address, and guess what.....he wouldn't. And after the third phone call, all back to back to back......he wussed out and hung up on me lol. They have to verify company, address and a proper phone number, they cannot make threats, repeated calls nor insult or try to intimidate you. That is the law....I filled charges with the FTC and State's Attorney General's office. We aren't the first folks these scam artists have went after, keep filling charges, they will get caught!!! I hope they do have the nutts to come to my house, could be worse mistake they ever made, possibly the last one they ever make as well ....lol. God Bless and Take Care.

Thank you for that information. They started to call me This past Tuesday. So far they have called 3 members of my family, one of whom lives across the country from me, as well as leave voice mails with random coworkers at my place of business. I am planning on phoning them back this afternoon, but from the sounds of it, i don't think it will do much good.

UCG a Debt Collector who apparently bought a payday loan that I did default on has been harassing me. They call and say they have papers to serve on me, but don't want to do it while I am at work, and demand I call them-and leave a message with the return number of 8558807671, then they leave a file number. I called back, and spoke to a female that stated they had bought my debt, and that they were trying to serve me papers, and asked if I had received/been served the papers yet-when I said No...she was like oh great then we have time to work this out. I proceeded to tell her that this debt was being included in my bankruptcy, and she proceeded to tell me that they planned to "come after me" quicker than my bankruptcy could be done. Then she proceeded to tell me that this type debt could not be included in my bankruptcy, and when I schooled her on how it could, she proceeded to threaten that there were charges pending for Fraud-and I again schooled her that this was not Fraud it was default of a loan....we went round and round.....she finally took my atty information and requested that my atty send them a fax clarifying that this debt was in fact being included in the bankruptcy. My atty immediately send a fax, and also demanded that they cease any more telephone calls/harassment of me. My atty also contacted the county clerk of court to verify if there were civil papers to be served on me, and yeah another lie, there are no papers. Well since they could no harass me this morning they called my sister-I mean really if you are smart enough to use a computer to find my sister and her telephone, how can you not find my home address.....other than the fact that this company is trying to use scare tactics to get payment-Unforn I know MY rights, and I know the law.....UCG is a scam debt collection company that tries to scare females that a male is coming for them.....well I say bring it-this girl can take care of herself
