Chaz is so obviously one of the scammers. If his lies don't tip you off, the fact that his English is so piss poor screams out "foreign scammer."

Chaz- You're a shill. Good antivirus software, kept up to day. Uninstall all those toolbars, & defrag your computer. You're done. Do you REALLY want an unknown person accessing your computer? Well if you like parting with $$$hundreds, sure.

Google searched sbcglobal tech support. Website selected advertises itself as SBCGlobal tech support. Called to get email proxy settings. Representative wanted $169.99 to fix a spam/hack issue that did not exist. Took pictures of website as proof.

This phone number is advertising itself as yahoo tech support! Funny they told me I needed to pay 169.99 to deactivate my email! This is a serious problem these people need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent! Where is the FTC when you need them?

My brother-in-law got taken, he ended up paying $300+. He is computer illiterate so really got ripped off!! I called the 1-855 number and asked a few questions. They are located in Manila, Philippines. "Jam" wanted personal info immediately and I would have to be forwarded to a Tech to download software. I asked what software he was talking about. He wouldn't tell me anything until I paid $169. I laughed at him and said today was 1/2 price day, he said he would drop the cost to $100. Complete scam!!!!
| christine 2013-04-07 16:16:16 Unknown |
DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFO! I did and then they locked my email so i couldn't get in!

SHILL Posting- These "computer repair" services come & go daily. Are you really going to turn your computer over to someone you met online? Want you're computer repaired? Shop local.

I also had the same problem with my yahoo email and i called this 855-887-4669.
they also charged me $169 but it doesnt matter since they fixed my email issue.
it is a tech support company so its normal to have a service charge.

yesterday i could not get into my hotmail. i called this number that was listed on the msn homepage, got someone who said my acct was hacked and wanted to charge me 120 to fix my computer. when i said it was on the hotmail server, he got very confused and since i have a contract with my own computer repair, i had them look into it said my computers were fine. i called the number back , got a woman who was very rude, told me she had nothing to do with microsft and hung up. Oh, and the number and ad that was on my msn page is gone also. someone really got me, not sure how much damage has been done but i have been able to get into my hotmail and change the password

I was locked out of hotmail. This number came up for support. I called it. She initially asked for $169, then dropped price to $100. I was told that the only way to unlock my email was to pay them to fix it, that hotmail was a free email so I needed to pay for support. I asked if she was part of Microsoft and was told, "yes". I also was told this was the ONLY way to unlock my email and the only other option was to create a new account. It would take 24-48 hours.
NOT TRUE!
Microsoft fixed it for free within minutes.

My Yahoo Mail is being Hijacked. I called this number as it was listed as Yahoo Tech. Support. These people are not Yahoo. they say "WE Support Yahoo". They led me to believe they were looking at my Mail account as they "Confirmed" Someone was sending out mail to my contacts under my address. They wanted me to allow them to log into my computer th review its operation. I ended the contact at this point.
