I am an attorney in Washington State representing a disabled man who is living on his VA benefits, lives in public housing, etc.  I called the number that has been calling and harassing my client.  The message identifies this company as "Alliance Solutions."  When a person picked up the line, she stated, "Legal Department."  She began grilling me on my name, my bar number, the type of law that I practice [WHAT]?  I told her that I could send her written verification that I did represent the individual I was calling about, but needed their address and fax number to get it to them.  She REFUSED to provide an address, a fax number, or a Uniform Business Identifier number (UBI) to demonstrate that her company is legally authorized to do business in Washington State.  I kept pressing for some way to communicate with them in writing, and she said, "I have taken your number, and that you claim to be some sort of attorney, and someone will get back with you."  I called back, and AGAIN they refused to give their full legal corporate name, corporate address, uniform business identifier number, department of licensing number (for collection agency registration).  I believe this company is operating ILLEGALLY.
