No one else reading here can "please stop" the service or return your money. This was already explained three days prior, *right behind* your misdirected demand. READ AND LEARN BEFORE YOU COMPLAIN!

No, that was not "venting", that was demanding action. The commentor jumped in here from a search engine hit, ignored the URL of this site, ignored the fact that the page headers do not read "iFortune", not did not read the instructions for users found on every page, did not read a single line from prior comments, and simply blasted out yet another plea for whatever company to stop its offensive behavior.

The same error has been made eleven times in this thread since March this year. It has since your response been repeated by three more impatient types straight through October this year. They all have this idea that the first search hit they find is always the customer service portal of a given service or product. They all think that Customer Service is clairvoyant and can determine names, account numbers, addresses, and so forth just by their bleating "stop calling me" and "remove my number". One of them foolishly published a personal phone number, which will invite yet more scammers to plague that person.

Obviously none of these people use any reasonable care when online to protect their privacy and watch where they browse. This behavior is especially prominent among people who rely chiefly on mobile devices for internet access. The minority of informed complaints suggests strongly that such carelessness is *precisely* how they have unwittingly subscribed to a stupid fortune teller service in the first place, which I would bet deploys some form of negative option billing.

These suckers just sit around & set up stupid websites to trick & suck up people's blooding money which we all worked hard for it!  What kind of services do they provide?  Nothing!  Perhaps we should stop using our phone carriers like Rogers, they're the one who help them to suck up our money for nothing!!!
When you try to call back 855-896-0577, they're so chicken out & do not want to face or talk or explain to their customers on what the hell they're doing instead they put you on automated services which you cannot scream at them!  Why does Government allows these idiots to exist in this business world!

Unsubscribing is not something *we* can do. This website isn't affiliated with ifortune. You will need to contact them and have them unsubscribe you.

What the heck is this???
My cell phone company (Fido) charged me 10$, when I called them to ask what that charge was, they said is was from an Ifortune app...
I NEVER purchased or subscribed to any Ifortune app...

They said to call them, I decided to Google the number and ended up here.
I did call, of course, I had to press #3 (to unsubscribe) like 4 times before it actually worked...I called from my home phone...

Now I am waiting for the "confirmation" text from them.

How is it that they can just get any phone number and then charge the people 10$...Is there nothing we can do to get our money back...???
How the our cell phone suppliers be so stupid and just pay them and then try to charge us...??!!!

Also, this page helps to verify that you are a victim of a scam rather than any alternatives such as nasty friends who may have done this to you or that you have full-blown dementia and don't know what you are doing.

Telus has asked me to call this number to unsubscribe to a service (iFortune) that I did not subscribe to in the first place. I have been charged for this unrequested subscription on my Telus mobility phone bill. Now Telus wants me to call this number, which will ding me for long distance charges, to ask them to unsubscribe and reimburse me. I tried to explain to the Telus agent that this is a scam, but she just said that maybe I have a friend who would have done this or I did it unknowingly. NOT!!!!

Holy Horse Blinders, people! DaFox has twice on this page tried to politely indicate that your customer service problems cannot be solved here on a mystery phone call database. Let's make this very clear:

- No one reading this page can "please unsubscribe" or ''please stop'' anything on your behalf.
- Your callers do not maintain this site or this web page.
- Your callers cannot magically determine who you are or how to respond based on anonymous comments.
- You cannot expect compliance with your orders until, if possible, you deliver them *directly* to your caller.

It is great that this site allows us to see that the numbers that are calling our phones are unlawful telemarketers. However the only way that this problem will ever be controlled is when the federal government has the resources to crack down on the unlawful telemarketers and regulate the TELECOM companies that lease the data and telephone lines that these companies use to harass us. Verizon, ATT, Pac Bell and all the telecom companies lease lines to telemarketers and make money off the lines that they are using to annoy so much of the population. The telecom companies only care about profits  The telecom companies try and block legislation to penalize cell phone usage while driving. Why? Because it lowers the amount of minutes that they sell. Cell phone usage while driving cost people their lives and the telecom companies don't care as long as they sell those minutes.

How many suckers do you think you will trick into doing that?  All it does is confirm your number so it will get on more sucker lists and you get more junk phone calls.

Don't you know that, or are you one of the scammers deliberately trying to trick people? Your lack of literacy and inability to spell simple words sure makes you look like one of the scammers by the way.

Received text message from Telus thanking me for my subscription to iFortune for $10/mth. I did not subscribe to this service. The unsubscribe link given didn't work as it lands on a generic page where one needs to create an account before one can unsubscribe. Called Koodo (a Telus company, my mobile phone provider) and disputed the charge. They told me that they cannot reverse the charge and cannot unsubscribe me. I need to talk to the company.

Called the company at 855-896-0577 and got through to a live agent (there is actually an unsubscribe option). He first of all cancelled my subscription (text message was received as confirmation) and then explained that they cannot reverse the charges for Telus and Bell customers (they can only do this for Rogers and Fido). My only option is to give my name and mailing address to receive a cheque for $10 in two weeks. I didn't go with that option.

It boggles my mind that my mobile phone provider can essentially use my account as a credit card for the benefit of third parties. Worse than credit card companies, I cannot even dispute charges with them, but I need to deal with the third party directly, who can only charge but cannot undo charges. Hmm, what's wrong with this picture?

I am cancelling my data service with Koodo as this is my only protection against such scams.

First, forward the text message to 7726 (SPAM) : http://www.fcc.gov/guides/spam-unwanted-text-messages-and-email
Next, contact your cell phone provider and tell them your phone number was used by an unknown third party to sign up for a fee based monthly charge service that you can not get removed by using STOP or contact them to unsubscribe.
Tell them you did not authorize this service.
Have them reverse the charges.
Have them active protection from "slamming" on your cell phone service: http://www.fcc.gov/encyclopedia/slamming
Have them active blocks for premium message services: http://howhood.com/cell-phones/block-premium- ... cell-phone-bill
