I did a lot of research on the people calling from the phone numbers listed below. These people are making claims that they are attorneys, debt collectors, law enforcement, and government officials. These people are frauds and they will say anything to scare and intimidate who they call!!  They will make threats, call you names, and stalk all of your friends and family. Their purpose is to scare and extort money from people!! Be VERY VERY careful! It seems to be a fraud ring. I have only been able to connect the dots in New York and Arizona, but I am sure there are more areas that these people are working out of.

The phone numbers that I researched that are being used are as follows:

The 855# is a lady that calls and claims to be Lisa White from a law firm called CAR & Associates (C.A.R., C A R). They use the address 5165 W Broadway Ave, Suite 253, Depew, NY 14043. The address belongs to a UPS shipping store. The 855# is near Buffalo, NY. Their email address office@chaserinc.com hits IP address 72.45.220.18. The business name is not registered as a legal business with the State of New York. The lady threatens if you don't pay the debt then the sheriff's office will be called to have you arrested. She becomes extremely nasty and threatening in attempt to get the person to pay.

The 646# when ran through a website called privacy star.com gives coordinates (40.7984895 -73.9680624) that when are plugged into Google maps, gives you a hit. There is a "Settlement Housing Fund" location there (210 W 102nd St, New York, NY 10025). The website for Settlement Housing is: http://www.settlementhousingfund.org/index.html

The 480# when ran through privacy star.com gives coordinates (33.4508934 -112.0783305). When plugged into Google maps, puts you near another place that houses low income people called "Housing Opportunity Center" (302 W Monroe St, Phoenix, AZ  85003). The website for Housing Opportunity Center is: http://housingopportunitycenter.com/index_files/abbey.htm

There have been 2 different people calling from the 480#. One person is a male that claims to be called Scott Matthews. He is impersonating an officer by claiming that he is an officer with the Maricopa County Sheriff's office and that he is on his way to arrest you. Then the next time, it is a woman calling from the exact same number claiming to work for the Maricopa County Justice Court and that there has been a petition filed against me and that I should try to resolve my debt by calling 1-855-896-0755.

The 480# is also near the bankruptcy court house where I recently file bankruptcy last year. I recall seeing a woman dressed disheveled like sitting near the back and just writing notes down when each case was being read verbally by the court clerk in front of the judge. She appeared to be out of place since she was not a petitioner or a creditor. Also, the debt that these people are trying to collect on was included in the bankruptcy. The phone numbers that these people have been calling would only be found if reviewing a bankruptcy case filling as well, since the phone numbers that they are calling do not relate to the debt at all.

I filed a complaint with the FTC. If you are being harrassed by these people, please do the same.

Someone named Olivia has been calling me for months. Time sensitive matter. 855-896-0755. I don't answer and never call her back. I get so many of these calls. I had at one time some issues from being unemployed. But have paid some of these and now finding out they were never paid to companies they were representing. Do I lost out on the monies. I am finding out more about these scum bags  and scams. Something needs to be done.

Received a call earlier today from 855-896-0755.  A woman was on the line stating that she was calling from a law firm. She claims that I had written a bad check back in 2011 and that if I did not pay it now that their firm was going to press fraud charges against me and I will be prosecuted as a criminal. I knew that this had to be a scam or someone has bad information. I told her to send me evidence of this debt to me. She said that she would email it to me. It has now been more than 5 hours since that call and I am still waiting for the email. Based on the posts here, I doubt that it is coming.

Received a call regarding a civil suit and must call immediately to avoid further action. Left a case number. Didn't call them back after reading these posts.

Caller left a message that my Social Security number had been compromised  and that the offender could possibly already be in custody.  Even gave a case number of 411283, and for me to contact them at 855-896-0755.  Instead we looked up the number that they had called from which was a Roswell, NM number of 575-208-7506.  I have contacted the Chaves County Sheriff's Office in Roswell instead.

I just received a call from 855-896-0755 and the so called officer said I have a warrant for my arrest and I was going to go to jail, but when I told her I was looking a the county website as I was on the phone with her and there is no warrant for my arrest she got mad and said we will just see you in count.

OMG!!! I feel like an a**!!!! I gave that chick my credit card info...welp it looks like I'm gonna have to cancel my debit card!!!!

I never answer, rather simply block number Caller I.D. shows "Cambodia" which (along witb prefix of "855") lets me know this is another examoke of how foreign people are preying upon American people by prete ding to be attorneys and using intimidation tactics which are illegal as well as unethical. Real scum and toxic ooze..should be incarcerated at Pelican Bay or some other violent prison where they can experience what its like to get screwed up thr booty hole!!!

A women try saying bout bogus check and will have police pick me up and arrest me I was called from another number with same question and reason for this matter etc. I told her I look foward to seeing the police and looking forward to be waiting for them in front of my home and she hung up.

they called twice claiming some bogus civil suit was filed against me and i could settle it now before it goes to court.  it's a scam
