What should I do to stop having those harassing call. I don't have to be with virgin anymore

I get a call from the number every couple of days. I haven't answered it as there is no name displayed. I don't want to answer it as I may be charged a long distance charge or something else. I don't know what company it is or what kind of call it is.

Bell BOUGHT Virgin Mobile Canada a few years back.

They're not. Virgin only uses bells towers

It's Virgin Mobile - as DanDaMan said, they're calling to see if they can get you a better plan, and/or if you're looking to upgrade your phone(s).

I had noticed that my bill had gotten higher lately, and the rep explained that I had a lot of overages in both my minutes and data, and suggested I go onto another plan that would cover more minutes and data, thereby avoiding/minimizing my overages (and saving a bit in the end), while staying on a monthly plan (no committing contact).

While I wish they had left messages when calling in the past to know the reason for their call, this call did turn out to be beneficial to me in the end once I answered. I didn't feel pressured into anything, and the rep was helpful.

this is the company that is calling on behalf of virgin mobile. If you want to know if they are legitmate just call 611 and ask if they work for internal or for sykes. If you press 2 for french they will be located in the same office as the outbound crew which is located in Moncton New Brunswick.

Our 1800 is redirect from the USA as sykes is an american company. You do not get charge LD for the call.

it is not a scam it is the loyalty department just checking in to see if your plan or phone is still going good for ya!!

its an automated dialer, the computer calls regardless if the rep is available it sucks but it isnt a person hanging up being rude its a flaw in the system , sorry

because its an automated dialer that detects voicemails so that the reps get connected to actual person. To dumb it down for you the call centre rep doesnt actually dial a number the computer calls it for them. Bell departments and Virgin departments share the 1800 number because for obv realizes its cheaper. so this is either virgin loyality or bell calling.

If it's Virgin, then why don't they leave a message?

Received a call from them again today. They have been calling about 3 times/week for the last few weeks.
The person said two words then hung up. I could not understand what he said. Normally the person just hangs up without saying anything. Called back and there was a recording. I called Virgin Mobile and had them put a note on my account. I do NOT want any calls.

These calls are annoying and persistent. They are not selling anything, not doing anything but harassing you and wasting air time. It is time for Virgin Mobile to do something about these calls.

I have been a Virgin customer for 3 years and I would not go any where else. My family (not me personally) has had dealing with Rogers, Tellus, Fido and Bell and I wouldn't give you 2 cents for any o them. Even though Virgin is owned by bell I have always had great service and a lot better than my daughter who is with bell

I just got off the phone with Virgin moile, they say they havent contacted me for over 6 months, and that I should not give out any information what so ever.  Just block the 855-933-0031 # if you can, otherwise, just ignore it, its a scam

Paranoid much? The reason they still have to ask security questions is so they can make sure they're discussing your account with you, the account holder. Or would you prefer that anyone who happens to answer your phone have the ability to change your cell plan or other account details? When THEY call YOU, they know who they're trying to reach, but they have no way of knowing who they're actually talking to unless they ask. Protect your personal information and be wary of random callers, sure, but use a little common sense while you're at it.

did any or all of you do a customer survey to rate their/your service before this number started to call you?

Has called me everyday for the last week. I ignore as I DO work during the day and cannot answer my phone. Today they have called me TWENTY-TWO times!! TWENTY-TWO!!! And its only 2:50pm. Will I have another 22 before the end of my work day!!

This is annoying!!  They keep calling daily and I want it to stop!

this number has called my Canadian cell phone at least once a day for the last 7 days, and they never leave a message ! I do not answer that phone because I am in Arizona for the winter. I want them to stop!

ten calls over a period of a week of so, sometimes several in a row.

I rec'd a call today from this number and it was a fellow identifying himself as calling from Virgin to see if I'm happy with my current service. After the how are you today etc., he said "For security purposes, I'll need your last name" My anetnnae went up, assumed the next questions would me my SIN, birthdate, credit card # or what have you. Sorry but HE called ME, why a "security question"  if it was legit? I told him I was not going to answer any questions and hung up.

I have been called two to three times a day for over a week.  I have answered a couple of times and there is no response.  Now I just ignore.  

I got 3 calls from this number and they dont leave any message. This time I get to talk to somebody.
This person said they are calling from ???? on behalf of Bell Mobility. He was asking if i need a new phone and I said I already got the new phone. But I am looking for a better plan as I have started using more data. He offered unlimited call+2GB for $65 (original $85).
Then he wanted to get the expiry date of my credit card. I refused to give it to him over the phone and said that I am fine to go to the Bell store and give it there. I have no way of verifying that you are a representative of Bell. Then he said that he can not go ahead with the transfer of the plan without this information.

Get theses calls from Verizon, Bell Mobility...  Yeah euh  I'm with Virgin Mobile.

They can't get their "Story" straight...   My bill was a few days late, come on, when I was month to month could be 3 months late before I received a text (too much to my taste but there is no middle ground here)...   A text reminder is great, don't call me 5 times a day while I work and not answer when I pickup...  Then ask me if I'm satisfied.

I have confirmed it's legit, annoying as all heck but legit.  Still I told them thanks to the reminder, I'll go online and check my account status.  Never give out information to an incoming call,  call back.
