They are saying that I authorized a payment, and I do not know who they are.1-844-742-0019

Called these people back and spoke to a Lisa North said she was with ARM and that DMP had bought this old debt from a payday company but she couldnt tell me which company.  She said that someone was going to come a serve me at home or work... Said that I owed such and such money and needed to set up a payment arragement.  She said that I recieved something in the mail and via email and I never did... From DMP giving me the chance to pay it back before went to court.

She gave me the last 4 digits of a loan number which I have all my documentation on my payday loans and cant find anything with the last 4 digits.

I am scared to be served and go to court not what I need right now.

What do I do?

I called these people back and talked to someone and they said they were calling to notify me that someone was coming to serve me at my work or home.

I asked what this was in regards to and they gave me a company that bought an old payday loan but couldnt tell me what company just the last 4 of the loan number and when the loan was taken out, but never did I recieve any loans on that day or have a loan with that loan number.

Can they really come after me and take me to court and serve me at work?

I moved recently and ever since my phone was turned on I have repeatedly received calls from this agency trying to collect a debt from someone who does not live here.  I explain to them the person they are looking for is not at this number, they say they will remove my number...only to call again.

Same as everyone here. Calling for a time sensitive matter.

I got a call from this number, they told me it was for a payday loan. I called the payday loan place they said I owed and they told me I did not owe money and that this was not the first person to call with this complaint. BIG SCAM!!!

This number started calling first they called from 8887104273 and then the automated system left this number 8559353681-----with some file number.....its a little heart breaking thinking these people are that dumb to try and scam honest people out of their hard earn money with made up debts....

Called me several times trying to extort money out of me for a supposed payday loan I took out. First off Payday loans are illegal in my state(Connecticut), and secondly tgey do not realize I am a State Police officer with a law degree. Just a heads up to anyone reading this, this company is operating illegally. DO NOT pay these scammers anything.

Keeps calling me and harrassing me.  I have reported to police.

This person called me from this number and left a message on my home phone.  I called them back and they stated I had an outstanding payday loan that I took out in 2011 from J D Marketing Group for $200.00.  When I told her I did not owe any payday loans she said that was all the information she had.  I believe someone has hack into some account and got all the information on me so I hung up and told her I was contacting the FBI to investigate this scam.   I have not heard back from her yet.   This is so ridiculous that these people are scamming people to get money from them.  I am going to contact the FBI and see if there is anything that can be done

I got a call from the same number. 855-935-3681 is the call back number. Not going to call it. SCAM. After reading these complaints its got to be a scam.

I got the same call and they had a docket number and Needed to call them right away. I got the same thing when I called back. It was from ARM of Western New York. I am not going to call them again cause it has got to be a scam.

They keep calling me and leave a voice message saying this is time sensitive and I need to call them back and speak to someone or they will file charges against me.  I do know that if the sheriff wants me they know where I live and how to get ahold of me.  I'm tired of the phone calls.

You cannot be arrested for failure to pay back a payday loan. Any check postdated for a payday loan can not be prosecuted as a bad check.

They left me a V/M and said I needed to return the call immediately or charges would be filed against me.  The compnay is ARM of Western NY.  To return the call at 855-935-3681.  I will not call them back.! .....

I received a call today saying that they were calling about some account number and that this was an attempt to collect a debt but it was very ominous and threatening. So i looked up the number on the iunternet and discovered that it may be a scam number.

I just got a telephone call from this telephone threating to contact my employer about a Mass Street loan that I never heard of.

I finally got Aaron Morrow on the phone who stated he isn't sure why people do what they do. He said they are a mediator company so he doesn't know why Matthew told me I would be taken to court and my income taxes taken.

He too got rude though when I told him I have proof of my pay off. He said he wasn't going to talk in circles with me because he had to go take other calls. I asked for an address because I was reporting them to the BBB and the FTC. He gave me a PO Box....red flag!!!!!

I received a call from 888-710-4273 and they left a message for me to call back to 855-935-3681. I called back and a very rude man named Matthew Brooks stated I owe a company that I had paid off over 4 years ago. He really got rude when I told him I would call him back when I found proof of my pay off. He then said they were going to take my income taxes for the amount owed plus attorney fees and cost of court. He asked what time would I be calling back and I said as soon as I find what I need to show my pay off. He rudely said if I didn't call back today then papers would be sent to the courts in my county for me to be served tomorrow morning.

I found my proof and have been calling 855-935-3681 for three hours now and no one answers, it goes to voice mail saying its ARM of Western New York, call volume is high so leave a message and we will call you back. GO FIGURE!!!!!! I am logging a complaint with BBB and FTC.

I got a message on v/m saying saying to call this number 855-935-3681 and they gave me a docket number but the number it showed up on phone as a missed call from 888-710-4273 they gave me a docket number haven't called back have a feeling its a scam didn't say who they were and what they were from plus i filed bankruptcy chapter 7 and they said its this an attempt to collect a debt and any information will be obtained for that purpose is this a scam or should i be calling back

They keep calling me and finally left a message with a number to call back. It was a recording on my voice mail. There was no company name stated.

Debt Collector; This number keeps calling  asking for SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT LIVE HERE. Or NEVER HASr has lived here. They have been calling since Dec of 2013. They have called enough times to fill my voicemail.  

Debt Collector that is collecting debts ILLEGIALLY. They also change their phone numbers, and also Spoof numbers on your caller ID. Real Low Life. Here's the lay of the land as they say, I work in the court system so I will go thru this for you .

First they are calling because they say they can not find you. This is Crap as the sheriff, will NEVER, EVER call you to tell you they are coming. They live to work on the element of surprise. Plus if your township, county etc, wants you, they already know where you are, so sit tight.

Second, and most important, NEVER CALL these low life bottom feeders back.  Because truth be known they don't care who they talk to as long as they can get money from SOMEONE!  It doesn't even have to be the right person. If you call them back then they know that they have a real tangible working phone number that they can call to harass you all the time of day and night.  Just ignore the call, or better yet, tag them as a spam call in your phone, and you'll never even see them ring it.

Third, these people function and live on the *Fear factor* they will say anything,  tell you anything to get you to give them the money thru your checking account, debit card or credit card.  Many people get scammed this way. I've heard : coming to your workplace to arrest you, serving you in the morning if you don't call by a certain time, attaching your salary, etc, etc, this is all nothing but crap.

Fourth, collections like this  are ILLEGAL as they usually have bought up old expired debt, we call them Zombie Collectors as they keep rising from the dead, one will give up only to be followed by another.......

Fifth, I know it sounds nice to send them a letter or report them, but this is a futile. They have got this to a science.  With all that is going on in court system they know they have time on their side.  Not enough of these low life bottom feeders get caught and prosecuted, if they did...they wouldn't still be in business, but they are, thousands of them.

Lastly, anyone who posts that you are scum or a deadbeat PAY YOUR BILLS , OR OMG  they came to my place of work and arrested me, are full of crap, probably work for the collection agency mentioned (yes they monitor these boards also and put bogus information out there) and are just trying to SCARE you, SEE MY THIRD NOTE Above, Fear factor.

Best thing to do in this case, especially with these people is TO IGNORE. Eventually when no one engages with them they will go away to torment someone else.

This number has been calling me for a couple of months now.  I once was able to get a live person 2 months ago and informed them that I am not the person that they were asking for.  

Since then, I am now getting the calls daily.  If I press '1' to speak to someone now, they hang up.  If I call their call-back number, they hang up.  I am just looking for any way to make the calls stop.
