Go the the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau website and file a complaint against these scammers. They will respond and go after these phony companies.  This website was set up to help consumers with these scam debt collectors.  They have shut down and arrested owners of several of these companies.  

Just go to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, click on the button to report this scam company.  They are the Bureau set up by the government to deal with these fraud debt collectors.  They will respond to your complaint, and they have shut down and arrested the owners of several of these scam companies.  They are not a law agency, they will not send anyone to your house.  Use this service to shut down these illegal scammers trying to make a fast buck illegally.  Go to the FTC website and learn what a legitimate debt collector has to do to abide by the law.

Just got a call a few minutes ago regarding this number.  The caller ID said "toll free caller" and came from a 855-651-3951 number.  I got the same message everyone else is getting regarding "investigators" who are looking for me and a "case number" when I call back at the 855-947-7266 number.

First, if anyone wants to know where I am, and nothing is private anymore, all they have to do is "Google" me to find out where I live, or do a web search through a search engine to find me.  Second, any reputable firm would and must identify themselves and the reason for the call.  

All this stinks of not just a scam, but an attempt to collect whatever info they can on you even attempting to steal your identity.  Best thing is not to return these type of calls.

My mom was called by 855-651-3951 and the message left on her vm said to call them at 855-947-7266. in reading your website about the first number (ending in 3951), the company is called Bailey & Rowe Associates based out of South Carolina. Apparently they are a bottom feeder junk loan collector and make up phony threats to get people to pay them. The person they are looking for in our case is deceased. One person left a comment on the other phone number saying this:

I returned their call because they keep leaving threatening voice mails on our new number for our law firm. When I stated my name and a case number was pulled up, they asked if I was that person, I said no, I'm calling from my law firm to request ---- I was cut off and told to have the person call them and they would talk to her, not her lawyer, then disconnected. I just want them to stop calling and interrupting my work.  Obviously a scam.  An investigator of any sort wouldn't make such a demand.  They would provide a name and address to send your letter of representation.

Received a call from this number wanting information, but the scary thing was they already had some of the information.

Being harrassed by Robo Calls from this number. I called the number back and was given limited information. I advised them NOT to continue calling my number and that I will take my chances.  

I have been getting these calls now about 6 months, they have contacted family members and threatened to have me arrested. They demand personal information and tell third parties information a seasoned and professional debt collector would never release to a third party.  DO not under any circumstance fall prey to such rude behavior and lack of professional ethics. Any debt collector is required by law to give you the name and address of the firm they work for along with proper contact information.  I know have been a debt collector for many years and would never insult a caller when they ask me a direct question.    THIS IS A SCAM.  DO NOT GIVE THEM your info and do not acknowledge to them that they have a right party contact in any way shape or form.  They will just keep calling you.
Trust me the company was ligit and they really wanted  to find someone, it can be done.  I do it every day and I do not need your family and friends to Skip Trace you.  your debt is not your families business and it's against the Fair Debt Collecion Act to release information.

I get a message at least once a week, that they are trying to locate an individual. They leave a case number and the phone number. It is a robotic message that is not capable of listening to our out going message to realize the so called individual they are trying to collect from doesn't live here. It is a scam. I did try and call the number back just to tell them to quit calling, but I got elevator music. I will probably try again so I can be a pain to them like they are to me. Maybe we should all rally together and call them and say we are trying to collect a debt from them.

I was told that I was speaking with Jewel at Farm Credit of America - when I asked for a mailing address to send legal correspondence, they hung up -

My parents have received 2 calls this week from this number so I called the first time and was polite..they were not. They were looking for my ex-wife. I gave them her contact number and told them she would NOT pick up cause of the number, I'm sure shed figure out it was a collector of some sort. I asked politely if my parents as well as myself could be removed from their list and she said she would take it off. Well here it is,,only 1 day later and my mom called and said they called again looking for my ex. So I called...now I am NOT a racist but this black woman answered my call back and again I told her what happened..then I heard a click..they hung up. After calling back she answered again so I threatened to go to my attorney and I have friends who are cops that may help...CLICK...Again they hung up. I kept calling with no answer so I left a very nasty message on there voice mail telling them one last time to leave my parents out of it and that I would find them all and report them...what a bunch of A--HOLES...I also looked up this so called Reynolds and Hill and its a farce...they are exactly what you all have said..a scam. I'm going to keep calling t hem back to piss them off..I'm unemployed and like them..I have nothing better to do so I will try to piss them off and if I can ruin just one of their days I will feel I accomplished something..lol.

This is a SCAM! FAKE ALL THE WAY I received a call from 1-855-947-7266 who left a voice mail and the call showed on my caller id as 1-855-651-3951 and it's nothing but the same music on both numbers.

For at least the last year, an illegal group of debt collectors have been terrorizing consumers, their family, friends, and employees threatening to arrest the individual of an unpaid loan or other debt (their generally don't even owe). Be aware debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and you can't be arrested. They threaten a warrant if the victim does not pay a sum of money by the credit card over the phone.

Some of the people they are calling do not owe a debt.  Others they are calling have already settled their debt with the organization who owns the accounts. Even if you do owe a debt, do not be deceived by the actions of this group.  Many of the accounts they are attempting to collect they do not own.  In other words, if you pay these people, that is not going to clear your debt with its rightful owner.  

Although when pressed the callers give the victim an address in Columbia South Carolina (usually a vacant lot) or Atlanta GA (often a parking lot near the bus station or a Peachtree Road Address). They are actually out of the Charlotte North Carolina area. The scammers are using the following business names (and there are many others, and they seem to create new ones daily).  They will normally answer the call back number as ?Investigations?

Caller ID shows 855-651-3951; message is verbatium as previously reported. Call back 855-947-7266. No company stated on message, just a threatening message from the dirt bags with case number!!! Caller is blocked!!! Until tomorrow when the caller id is different. Other number identical to this is # 855-948-9675. Blocked that 2:weeks ago!

Same as everyone else. Luckily I can block their number. But they just call from another number. Reporting them to the FTC or AG does no good. As long as they connect with people and are able to get money from someone they will continue. Aggravating yes...can it be stopped? Would love to know how!!

the people who called me several times threaten me with criminal and civil prosecution if I woulf not pay $300. 8 people refused to provide company name or address

We've been getting these calls for months trying to locate one of my sons. There are now 2 or 3 of these scam artists calling now. All saying the same thing! I've reported it to my State's Attoney General's Office ... the woman there said they get a lot of these complaints! She said DO NOT give out any information, nor pay any amount because you will not be arrested!

Just got a call looking for me...they left a msg and a case #.  I am going to go to eht do not call site and report them.  I have paid off all of my outstanding debts.  They really need to leave me alone.  

I received a voice message so I  called back and listened to music. No business name was given just straight to message. I decided to leave message for them to contact me if this was a legit claim. I also commented that my legal representation will be looking into the claim. I agree on this being a scam.

I have been receiving one or two calls from this number and other similar numbers daily, and they are also calling my father (I'm 31 years-old) and my husband, threatening that if they know where I am, they need to tell them since they could be considered accomplices! They told them that there is a warrant out for my arrest for some debt I don't owe.

I filed bankruptcy after the illness and death of my son, back in 2009, and one debt that was discharged was the debt they are calling about. I told the lady early this week that the debt was discharged in a bankruptcy and she was in violation of the law by trying to collect on it. She apologized and said she saw the information on the file and that she would remove the phone numbers from the account and make a notation on the file.

Then today, my phone and my husband's phones rang at the same time. It was this number. I spoke to a very nasty woman. I told her that if it was about this same debt, she could save her breath because I already cleared this up. She put me on a very long hold and we were eventually disconnected. I was annoyed at this point and called back. They answered the phone "Investigators?" and I was transferred to a different person. This gentleman, and I use that term loosely, called me a liar and said that there was no way that it would have made its way to his desk if it was discharged in a bankruptcy and that I should just fess up before they are forced to "file a warrant." What he doesn't realize is that I spent 12 years working in the legal profession and I know that you don't "file a warrant." So, I asked for his name, the law firm's name, the phone number, the fax number, and the mailing address, under the guise of sending him the bankruptcy documents.

I researched the "firm" and sure enough they don't exist, and I found this forum instead.

The information that he gave me was: Bailey & Rowe in Columbia, South Carolina, the man's name was Brandon Davidson, and the fax and phone number (which he claims are the same) is 855-967-6268.

I will be forwarding this information to my attorney, who also happens to be my x-boss and very good friend. Hopefully he will be able to direct me to the best path to get these jerks to knock it off with bothering my dad and my husband.

These useless monkey turd balls also use number 844-784-2070 to call.  They will hopefully get what is coming to them one day  a nice big pie filled with s#$. I have filed complaints before but they change numbers  so fast real key they are fake.  They leave message to call 855-947-7266.

I received a call from this number say they were trying to locate my whereabouts . When I called this number back and asked her what this was regards to the lady started laughing and hung up on me. Gave me a case number 2014-2999921

Same thing with me.  I can prove I have paid the debt they are trying to resolve before fiiing for court appearance, blah blah blah...but when I told her I needed her information in order to have my lawyer call her back, her attitude changed!!!  All of a sudden, she all she had to say was 'Good luck'.  Ha!

Got a call today I let it go to voice mail I checked my messages and the automated call said my name and said if this is not and my name then please pass along the information to me and call 855-947-7266 and case number 2014-296846. When I blocked my number and called then music played then a person answers and says investigators department what is the phone number or case number for the person calling. I told them to stop calling me that I filed a police report and that if they called back that it would be harassment as well as trying to obtain property by false pretense.

After the 3rd time they called leaving a message that they were looking for a Jessica M*, I called them back to tell they could stop calling because I didn't know this person, they just rudely hung up. Hope they stop calling.

file a complaint  with the FCC  or go to the local  District Attorneys office  they laugh when you telll them that  but watch  out  california has very strict rules  when it comes to the calls
