I received a call and on the caller ID the number was 412-713-7236. The voice stated that it had important information from my medicare advantage plans. It started to ask yes and no questions to verify my personal information. As soon as it asked my date of birth, I hung up.

Folks house started getting calls from your Medicare Advantage Plan since the weekend.  Should have known better that plan providers don't make unsolicited calls to people on weekends.  Voice message says a name asks you to confirm w/YES or NO, then to verify a xxx-xxx-xxxx phone number & confirm; then asks for DOB.  I called the 855 number and recording announces same thing & you don't need to answer the questions & doesn't affect your MEDI benefits. It also asks whether you take blood pressure Rx, choices on how often, same w/cholesterol Rx question; solicits Rx mail order at 888-624-1139 (found out its Caremark number); asks if you smoke; are you happy w/your weight; asks if doc visits give you a blood pressure test... at this point I hung up.  I got enough info to report to Fed Soc Sec office who referred me to www.smpresource.org.  I reported this as a potential scam.   ... for 3 weeks calls came in saying they were a specific Medicare Advantage Plan provider... the provider says they never telemarket or make such solicitations.
If you are on the Do Not Call list, make sure you report to your phone carrier.

Got a call from 412-713-7236, where recording asked me to call them at 855-959-2133 for an important medicare advantage message.  I called the 855 number and recording answered asking me to verify by name and dob.  I didn't go further with that recorded message and hung up.  I then dialed the number from which I received the call, 412-713-7236, which brought me the same recorded voice asking the personal info.  I hung up.  Checking a reverse lookup site, it said the number belonged to Health Net in Pittsburg, PA.  I was unable to locate anything searching for that company in Pittsburg.

This is the second round of calls, I received the same about a month ago and reported it to the Do Not Call registry reporting number but have heard nothing from them.

This time of year the health care vultures are out in force trying to lock in  new medicare eligible people first before their competition and co-Reps do.  My phone has been bombarded by these insurance reps.  each claiming they represented major health care companies.   I don't trust anyone on the phone anymore,  so I called the  AARP/United Healthcare people direct.  Their customer svc  verified two of the Reps in my area based upon my zip code.  I ask for their local phone numbers.   Then asked THEM to contact and  have the reps call me and verify by mentioning that I had called AARp/UHC.   They did and I then called back the one I preferred on their number.   The best was to be sure is to go to the AARP or direct to the United HealthCare site and then call their customer service.

I got a message from 855-959-2133 claiming to be from my "Medicare Advantage Plan". They did not name my actual plan provider, so I assume this is some kind of scam/telemarketing call and did not return it.

Got a call from this number, said they were from my Healthnet Medicare Advantage plan. First question they asked was my date of birth. Hung up, its a scam.

Got a call. Message from computer voice said it was my Healthnet medicare advantage plan. Called Healthnet.  They checked the number and said it was not from them. Healthnet advised that I don't return the call.

Got a call - said it was from my medicare advantage plan.  Not sure this is a valid call.
