I stand corrected (Thanks grumpy)...It could be anyone doing this, and not just my brother. Could be a relative or a stranger.  I am sorry I am not of more help to anyone out there. Feeling defeated, but I won't give up until they leave mom alone. Best anyone can do is report this type of stuff to athorities in your communities so that they can get the word out so maybe someone doesn't get scammed, and remind people you know not to send $$$ to people just because they SAY $$$ is owed.

After some research....sorry, it is my brother. Don't pay them a dime. He is a worthless looser who is scamming people.  I don't claim him as a brother, and I am going to continue with my efforts to get him in prison.  I know that he is checking these sights, and I want him to know I am going to stop him. If he had not tried to get $10,000.00 from my mom a day after dad died, he may very well have been able to continue trying to scam people. They are scammers. Tried to get, but didn't...$10,000.00 from my mom. Dad had just passed. What debt collecter: 1) calls on a holiday. 2) Calls before ever even mailing you something. 3) refuses to say who they are collecting for, 4) hangs up on you if you ask who and what they are, etc.???
Never give money! They were asked their address, and they freaked out and hung up! really? come on, be smarter than that. MI state police are involved, as are the FBI. Glad I have friends in those places. Won't stop til they are stopped! If they are reading this: BEWARE...YOU ARE TOAST! You don't mess with my family! And you are up against me...I work with scum like you every day, so, this is your notice! I don't back down, and I don't give up. Your scam days are numbered!

These people called my mother over the thanks giving holiday right after my dad died, said he owed $10,000.00. They said well, what about his estate? Can you get money from the estate? Kept saying dad owed it, though dad didn't owe any one any thing. Yes, they are scamming people. We live in michigan.  I have called my friends at the FBI office, and the state police are involved now as well. My advice is to go to authorities. They have to be stopped!  I for one will not rest until they are caught. Just because they didn't get money from my mother, doesn't mean I want them to get it from someone else. PLEASE.....Everyone...Report them to the authorities ASAP!!!!!  My sister called them...they wouldn't tell her WHAT they did...said they did a number of things. When she asked if they were a debt collector, the lady hung up immediately.  Debt collectors will send stuff in the mail long before they call. They also HAVE to tell you who they are and what they do. They also have to tell you who they are "collecting" for (client). DON'T BE FOOLED!!!!!
