Same thing happened to me today: she immediately hung up when I said that the person she had asked for isn't available. Not sure who she is or what she wanted. But she was very informal, never giving her name and asking for my boss by first name I got her name/number from caller ID. She ain't getting through.

Same thing - said she wanted to offer me a "free quote" on life insurance that could help me reduce my costs ("which is obviously a good thing"). When I said "thank you, but I'm not interested" she couldn't have hung up faster!

I received a call from her this morning. When I told her that my boss was not available and would she like to leave a voicemail, she abruptly mumbled something about calling back later, then hung up. The caller ID has her number, and her name listed as T. Reid. I don't know what she's selling, but now she woun't be getting any further than me at the office.
